Hrmm. I might be blind but i can't seem to find the excel file for scooby doo. Any chance you can tell me step by step on how to get the file from that link?
This is actually the best introductory video I've seen so far on youtube, and I've seen quite a few. Thank you so much for this excellent beginner's guide!
Andrew! thank you! 40 minutes with you has helped me more than an entire course from IBM. I was ready to give up on R, but after watching this, I am back in the game! thank you thank you thank you! such a great video.
This video was extremely helpful. I am a visual learner and I'm also learning R for the first time. I was so scared I wont succeed in this course. Although this is just the beginning, you provided me with a great foundation. I can't wait to learn more.
This has been the best and most compact R beginner course that I have encountered; everything becomes so doable when you can learn from someone who has great teaching abilities! Thank you so much for that and will follow your other videos!
Found your channel today, and it is beyond generous! Currently preparing to start a degree in Epidemiology, and we use SAS, but I really want to learn how to use R as we move through our biostatistics curriculum!
I'm sure every one here has already thanked you, but I''m going to do so as well. This was very helpful and an excellent introduction. Much appreciated!
What a helpful intro to R! My college classes just assumed we knew R and started handing in data analysis assignments in that programming language. This was everything I needed!! Thank you!!!
i've watched a handful of R tutorial videos as i'm just getting started - most of those left me wanting to leave R alone and stick with excel - yours was very clear and incredibly useful and convinced me it's worth my persevering with R after all - many thanks
This is just one of the most light and informative R introduction videos I've seen so far. Really well done, gave me a lot of inspiration and I've picked up a lot of great tips to teach R from now on. Amazing video. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Andrew! My very first engagement with R and it was a perfect intro. I am left with exactly what I wanted - a good understanding of what R is and how to use it. And that with zero boredom or confusion. Having just wanted to get a peek at what R is out of curiosity, I am inspired to download an environment and use it. You absolutely nailed it. Thanks again!
Please If you don't mind I would like to discuss something private concerning Rstudio with you. I will be glad if you can reach out. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
Thanks for your video. It does a great job of introducing a relative newbie like me to R. It has been 40 minutes well spent. Much appreciated for your great work! #2 Thanks again: this is my second time through, so much good info to take in! Thanks Andrew :>)
Thanks Andrew! In recent years i wanted to learn data analytics and i took coursera courses but you are much more straight to the point and focusing on the useful information. That video helped me in R more than 6 month data analytics course!
"If you can't explain it to a six-year-old, you don't understand it yourself" - Attributed to Albert Einstein. Your deep understanding of the language clearly shows your competence in simplifying it and making this video very enjoyable to watch and comprehend. Thanks to you Andrew, now I'm determined to being an expert in R 🙂
Thanks Dr Andrew! I'm a total beginner and this was very helpful to getting me into R programming. I'm sure half of your views at the end of 2024 will be from me alone simply reviewing the information presented.
I have learned a bit from R4DS, but this video did an amazing job of getting right to the point and showing how powerful R is. Instant subscribe from me!
Thank you so much it is quite helpful for me the way you try to give the lecture was fantastic. I have seen many videos of other and most of them get in to the difficulty within a minutes while yours are clearly explain the process and take you through the journey. Keep it up and we need more videos like this
People learning R is an active detriment to them learning other languages or anything at all for that matter. I appreciate that some people have to for Uni and for that this video is a good tool but they'd be better off learning something else.
Having no prior knowledge of R and RStudio, I just learned so much important information from this tutorial that will definitely help me in learning data engineering topic. Thank you so much for this Andrew.
I believe this one may be one of the best video on R. Thanks Matthew. No amount of training session on R in person helped me, this lesson gave me a sequential understanding of R. 😀🙏
Super helpful for a review of some things I learned in my first class that used R and a lot of things I hadn’t learned yet to hopefully help with my second class using it coming up, thanks so much! 😊
I did a full-day intro to R course at my university yesterday and was completely confused. This video, which took me about 2 1/2 hours to watch and practice, was so very much better than what was offered for $180
I do appreciate it. R to me is a new programming language and I was browsing TY to see what should I and where to start. Yours in my opinion is the best one. Thank you
From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU! I'm taking a course in Basic Statistics on one of the world's leading medical universities, and they, in their curious wisdom, require previous knowledge of this highly specialised tool. In a Basic course. Not in the prerequisites, mind you, but in the introduction on the first day of the course. You're supposed to learn it on the fly. So you're a LIFESAVER!
HATS OFF SIR!! I've been a python guy for a long time and I've been avoiding R because it's very different from other programming languages I'm used to. I really hated R, but no more! I'm really grateful to have decided to give R one more chance and to have found your video. Thank you very much for the friendly introduction, and more so for your approach on why things are the way they are in R :) Definitely subscribing to your channel and digging in your videos and playlists for the next couple of weeks! I still can't describe how relieved I am to have watched this. Much appreciated ❤
Thanks so much - with your help and only a bit more somewhere else I got my first really nice plot after getting to know R only 3 days ago! Great! R is so cool, if one starts to understand it.
coming from python, not knowing anything about R. TY for your quick and surprisingly in depth tutorial. Being familiar with the mpg dataset, I was able to focus on the differences between using python, pandas, matplotlib / seaborn. Thanks again!
I went through a few introductory videos to R, but your has been the easiest to understand. Thank you! While I will be searching myself, I would greatly appreciate it if you or some other experienced viewer could point me towards a comprehensive list of essential commands for R that I, as a beginner, might find helpful.
I'm a student who has to write my first data analytics paper using r for the analysis and I was completely lost and scared lol, you really helped break it down and make things understandable and more approachable to someone with zero coding experience! Thank you so much!
please If you don't mind I would like to discuss something private concerning Rstudio with you. I will be glad if you can reach out. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
Hi there. Thanks a lot for explanation, I'm currently doing the 7th stage of "Google Data Analytics Certificate" and there's a R topic. I'm really interested in getting an additional knowledge since we can easily do it thanks to the century what we're living and such an intellegent and great people like you who aren't shy to share his knowledge. I'm 100% sure it will help me to get a job as a Data Analyst in Germany. Best wishes, Anton from Montenegro.
I don't know what compelled me to click on this video in a sea of them, but I'm glad I did. I'll be watching more of your videos, thanks so much for this 🙂
I have been studying several r-books. This is the first time I see R markdown clearly explained. I wonder if you could devote more videos about it. After all, Markdown seems to be promising to export the R results into a MS word environment for future papers.
please If you don't mind I would like to discuss something private concerning Rstudio with you. I will be glad if you can reach out. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
Thank you for your video! This is exactly what I wanted - a quick tutorial on some basics that R can do. Do you have a video on various statistical packages that you can use to evaluate datasets? I'm very interested in this and more on plotting data! Thanks again!
Stressing about an exam i have to pass next week and while my teacher´s videos are helpful with the theory behind the statistics, they dont help on how to use R. This Video just helped me out massively. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much!!! Master student here after 11 years graduated from bachelor degree and never take any education after…recently all things should be corelated with statistic and Rstudio and I had to take repeat course this summer after not passed for data analysis 😢😢 it really helpful!!
