Learn Solidity: The COMPLETE Beginner’s Guide (Latest Version 0.8) 

We don't all have 34 hours to digest every single nuance about Solidity language. This is nice and straight to the point, valuable information, great examples, good stuff right here. Thank you for putting in the time to puts this together for us.

Just started learning Solidity and this made it SO much sense/easier and being able to read it and write smart contracts much easier. This is just one of many to get you started. If you are trying to learn to learn solidity this would be a great start.

I came to RU-vid to learn how to trade after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k. Somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.

okay just finished this video. i'm very new and just wanted to say thanks for this video. it was nice to have a video that was this short to like get a taste of what's to come. like I saw other people saying you didn't explain it to like complete beginner but I found it explained enough that I got most of it. and now I feel like I am ready to learn more and get in those longer videos. so thank you again.

I'm close to finished, I think in general it's pretty clear. But I stay with my opinion that this ain't for COMPLETE beginners. There is just too much missing or overlooked. You use a "memory" in front of a parameter, the modifier method ending with "_;" without explanation, 1:25:00 line 34 has a "require(true)" that always evaluates to true (not what you meant to do I guess), etc. I think for absolute beginners it's crucial to explain everything you show them, cause a single thing can make or break code.

Just wondering if you can you recommend a starting point on your playlist for a complete newb wanting to start to learn some blockchain programming? I've tried a few of your videos so far but seems every time I either run into an error that I can't resolve, or what I'm seeing on my screen looks nothing like the video, or it's assuming knowledge or set up I don't have yet. I think like an observation, book function needs require(_sent) as a variable, not true to emit, because true will always pass, I think that should be _sent (bool _sent, bytes memory data) = owner....

In line 33 of HotelRoom you have a bool with the variable name sent. The next line is require(true), shouldn't that be require(sent)? Otherwise it's always true. Am I missing something?

Great Video, thanks. One question: Do I have Topmanager gas fees, if I am only getting data from the smart contract? Or do I only have to pay gas fees, when I change a value?

What I’m not understanding; is the use case (and why) we use “remix” for Solidity. Isn’t their an actual “solidity” app? Or why don’t you use your terminal to write this information in, rather than remix? I don’t understand the can’s and cant’s of all of the different programs. And the usecase, and what we need in order and why.

Hey Gregory , It is showing me the error in the code, TypeError: Member "push" not found or not visible after argument-dependent lookup in string storage ref[2] storage ref. It is not allowing me to push element into the array by push method i think it is problem in versions 0.8.0 How can i solve it
