In this lesson I will teach you how to talk about your food using a wide array of words. And you will learn to use the correct Spanish verbs with your foodie words. You will learn if something "es bueno" or "está bueno". You will learn the different ways to say something is good, to express when something is overcooked, greasy, dry, juicy, spicy, sweet, rotten, or cooked to perfection. You will learn many Spanish adjectives and words that describe the taste of a food. Even more, you will learn that some words that are used to describe Spanish foods are also used to describe people. For example, do you know what it means to say someone is salty in Spanish? Oh, you don’t know! Good! Because this is a great reason to watch this lesson and find out if you are salty or not. This video not only will teach you more words, this video will also show you to use them in context. You will learn some good phrases that will come in handy when you are conversing with your Spanish friends. Está sabroso, está delicioso, está exquisito, está bueno, está rico, esta riquísimo.
When do you use the verbs ser & estar?
Remember that at the moment you are eating you use “está”. When you want to express the nature of a food, you use the verb ser, “es”.
Saying panza llena, corazón contento, happy belly, happy heart means that you have eaten and you are happy, literally your belly is full so your heart is happy :)
It is not that good in Spanish: "No está tan bueno".
