I like that you also include other words with a similar sound. It helps me reconcile them in my head.

Nice, I like how you combine the words you teach and form sample sentences. I think having sentences is critical for learning. Learning words in isolation isn't great :) Good work! Cheers from Poland

Thank you for the lesson. One remark if I may: you pointed at your throat, not your neck. Our throat is in front, our neck in the back.

Hi! Thanks for the lesson. Why are necessary polite and impolite words to refer to the feet and toes? I don't understand how to use them. Is it that you use one in a home with family and the other in public spaces or is the impolite word a word that can be used as an insult? Thanks in advance.

According to Thai customs and beliefs, the feet are often seen as low and dirty because they come in contact with the ground, which is considered dirty. There are 2 words for feet and toes in Thai, táo(เท้า) and dteen(ตีน). Be careful of using the word dteen(ตีน) because it is impolite. There are many rude words and slang that have the word dteen(ตีน) in them. It may be seen as disrespectful to use, especially in formal or polite settings. You can use the word táo(เท้า) instant. It is more polite and appropriate. Thais tend to be wary of using them at the right time because it shows politeness and impoliteness. Personally, I use the word dteen(ตีน) to refer to my feet and toes with my close friends and my family. Ex, I say "dteen sòg gà bpròg" (ตีนสกปรก) (sòg gà bpròg(สกปรก)=dirty) I tell them "my feet are dirty." I don't have to worry about being respectful or disrespectful. I just tell them that my feet are dirty. But in case I say my feet are dirty with other people, I will say "táo sòg gà bpròg" (เท้าสกปรก) so as not to be impolite, disrespectful and avoiding offense. I hope this can help you :) Jack.

@@IgetThais Hi thanks a lot for the extended explanation, in my language some body parts terms have a slang version, they are used as cursing words, If I understand your explanation correctly the impolite version of feet is not as cursing word, it is used to referring to the feet in a private setting, and the polite version it is used in a public setting, It is very nice and very helpful of you to explain this to me, thanks!
