Very good tips! I sort of start with doing the strokes drills, straight lines curved lines, ovals are always last and then I write the whole alphabet. I have trouble with most of the letters but I feel a very small improvement due to practicing. Thank you for the tutorial! 🙏🏻🙇🏻♀️👌
Charlotte Rogerson There are different ways of holding a pen. Personally, I write with a “normal” grip but when I grip a brush pen, I use the “pole” or “wrong” grip.

I ever love to draw, paint etc...and since the french successiv locked up, I enjoy to take my pens again. In my country, we find not a lot of things, so I visit Americans vidéos, and I 'am amazed !!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us! I'm enjoying using these worksheets and I'm definitely seeing improvement. I print on both sides of the sheets and then use my small pens in between. When I'm finished, both sides of the paper are completely filled! Thanks, Kelly.
I was doing it all wrong! This video is super helpful and most important not boring. I found some other videos that they say too much but at the end they didn't really explained anything. Is there a big difference between the Tombow dual brush and the Faber castle artist pen brush? Thank you so much for the motivation!!
Laura Chernoff Thanks for the feedback Lauren. Yes there is a big difference between the Tombow and FC brush pens. The FC brush tips don't flex well and bounce back. I don't use them.

Lefties have to adjust the paper angle until they have a good thick downstroke. Try to write from the side, not from above or below. You will also have a different push pull on the brush tip while doing strokes. Lots of lefties are super talented lettering artists and calligraphers.
