Kerry, this tutorial is fantastic. I love that you take us step by step through the process of making an amigurumi. I have several of your booKS and now am more confident making a lovely animal/doll etc. A great big THANK YOU. 👍💗👍
Really glad you've done a new video covering everything, I am doing level 3 work but need to brush up on the simple things like your yarn with the work.. 2 years I've waited for this, thanks Kerry
Hi Sandra, I will put this on the to do list! We do have lots of great doll head content on instagram (on the Advent account) @edscrochetalong if you scroll back to the doll year. Here is a link instagram.com/tv/CIXgoiGh3M4/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Thank you so much for this video. It has been really helpful. I am working through your mini series and seeing how you make the animals has been very useful. Happy New Year to you too.
Thank you so much for doing this video it’s brilliant I’ve always wanted to make your beautiful crochet animals etc but wasn’t confident or knew how to read the patterns being a beginner so helpful ❤
Thanks for this video! Would love to see one for Alice the zebra. It seems the pear part of the belly lands where the line goes up the side for color changes so it seems strange to put that in front. Also would be helpful to see tips on how to sew this one up while hiding that line. Finally - I don’t see in the edwards menagerie book where to put that tummy centralizer. Thanks!!
I have the same issue! It seems it's not in the book anywhere, but only in the later patterns. I would love to know which row to add it on and which stitch.
Hi, I’m working on a level 2 pattern (Benedict the Chimpanzee) and I’m stuck on the bit where it says “dc2tog into next st”. Is that just a normal dc2tog as you’ve shown in this video or something different? If it is, do you have a tutorial on it?
Hello, would you be able to let me know what round of the pattern it is on and if you’re working from a first edition copy of Edward’s Menagerie? It shouldn’t say dc2tog into next stitch. You can also reach us via email: help@toftuk.com. Best wishes, Beth - Team TOFT
We’ve got a few dog related videos - including sewing ears, eyes and noses. The bodies are sewn in the same way as other standard form animals. If you search ‘ TOFT dog’ here on RU-vid you’ll see them all together ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-68WhfWI8zFk.html
Hello, on round 3 you are doing 2 normal double crochet stitches before doing an increases (1 into the first stitch, 1 into the second stitch and then 2 into the third stitch) which leaves you with 24 stitches.
