Firstly, this is a completely independent craft that relies on manual labor only. It has its own fixed methods, and clothing repairs are specific only to it. You cannot repair any hole on a sewing machine. The sewing machine is intended only for tailoring clothes/for cutting fabrics to add to jeans. This is excess fabric and must be hollowed out from the inside to obtain an aesthetic appearance. For repair from outside

It's called fusible web. Found in walmart/ joann fabrics ect. Comes in a package for aprox $2. Just cut what you need with aprox 1/4 in edge or can trim off as in video :).

Vaseline is an adhesive, thermal fabric or filler used to line men's suits. The names differ by country. It's cotton and feels like cloth. It is better to buy and use soft material, and when gluing it, it should warm up well. You can buy it at stores that sell haberdashery, string, and buttons. It is always present in these places.
