My problem is my arms aren’t the same ones more down than the other however there is actual progress and the problem is it does it naturally I cant force my arms to stay in the same form because naturally the left changes while the right stays normal
I appreciate how you breaking it down! This is what’s needed, every other channel just say “jump like this and you’ll get it” smh you broke it down. Thank you!!! I liked & subscribed!👍🏽
I am soooo impressed..thanks for breaking it down and explaining exactly how it is.. I finally got it after 3-4 weeks trying... seemed so hard but actually it's pretty easy
1:22 - Step 1 single leg hops, 3x10 for each leg 1:55 - Step 2 single leg hops and lazy taps, 3x10 for each leg 2:45 - Step 3 alternating leg hops and lazy teps 3:43 - Step 4 single leg hops, 3x10 for each leg with rope 4:05 - Step 5 single leg hops and lazy taps, 3x10 for each leg with rope 4:30 - Step 6 alternating leg hops and lazy teps with rope
I've tried so many videos to try and learn this but I just couldn't figure it out. The way you explained it step by step, the slow me to show it and how you made sure that we know it's all about practice and patience.... I'm so grateful seriously. It wasn't too long, the video was to the point. Just perfection. Thank you so much!!!!!! ❤❤❤
I can do the feet on its own beautifully as boxers do, but when it comes to the rope swing, really hard to bring it up to speed with the jumps. Will keep practicing though!
Nice. Thanks for the video. Came here after your latest video on your first 7 days of skipping rope, recommending the Boxer Skip. Feels natural to do it without a rope but with a rope makes it a bit different so having a guided build up to doing it with a rope is nice.
Hey guys! So I left my cross rope in my gym bag for a couple of days while traveling, and now it’s got a lot of kinks in it. Now, jumping rope is impossible because the rope tangled every rotation. Do any of the traditional methods to straighten a jump rope work on the cross ropes?
I cant tell you how easy this was to follow. I did it in a swimming pool.... and in 5 minutes I got it. Now I can do something other than 'regular jump. Thanks.
Such an easy breakdown. Almost getting it. But I don't see the double // triple step as "advanced". It's actually much easier for me to do those than the actual single boxer step!
I can do the weight n lazy tap but when i use the rope i keep messing up cause my timing and power is not right Do u have any tips ? Should i do normal jump rope till im comfortable or ?
As a scientific scientist who appoaches everything in a scientific, semi-robotic way, I find it hard to approach this with an unscientific, natural flow. I will try my best. I will give it a few days and then let you know how your video helped or not. It's a great video! Thank you! But I really suck at jumping rope. Well.... here we go - wish me luck! 💪
Aight scientist, ima give my game away. The “real” (it’s Mayweather version and he’s the 🐐 so that’s that) boxer step is left right, left left. Right, left, right right. Then, once you’re touching with your toes, on the last step you kick out and tap. Makes it look like you’re jumping outside the rope. There, that’s 25 years of boxing and coaching boxing in 3 sentences. Once you have that pattern down you can Ali shuffle or just do the Cuban shift and swing out to switch to the other foot. So, “LRLL/ shift, swing out/ RLRR”. If there’s a flow keep flowing.
The best way to do anything is not to Practice and Be patient but turn it into your game and have fun with it and those 2 (patience and practicing) comes naturally
Is it fine if the foot I'm not jumping with goes a little bit behind? Cause my feet don't stay aligned and I'm not sure if I'm doing the boxer skip properly or if my technique is different
I started with the jump-tap step. I could easily complete a number of steps with my right leg but had considerable difficulty with my left leg. Any ideas to help build up my leg leg?
Thank you very very very so so so so much bro!!! I finally can do it. I had been training 3 hours before I did it!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼So I have been jumping for 3 hours and I can't stop jumping!😂
The rope is a huge part of learning moves and enjoying the exercise enough to make it a habit. You can jump without a rope and get a benefit, but will you do that for years? The heavier the jump rope, the more it challenges your muscles and body, increasing calorie burn and fat loss.
hey bro im 13 and im tryin to workout at home cuz i dont know i just wanna get jacked i have a fit body normal bmi but i dont really know what motivated me to workout any tips to keep me motivated ?
Motivation isn't really a thing, my dude. You've got to find other reasons, watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-32EQoa1UbuI.html
Not sure of the rope you're talking about exactly so it's hard to say. You can use any rope that feels comfortable for you! For the ropes we use and recommend, check out: www.crossrope.com/jrd Make sure to use our code DOTHETHING to get a discount!
Could you make a video about the disadvantages of jumping rope? It's the only cardio exercise I do since I sit for at least 12 hours a day, and it's helped me avoid gaining weight. However, I've been diagnosed with herniated discs, possibly from lifting weights incorrectly or being sedentary. I've jumped rope my entire life, six times a week, at least three sessions, even doing 4,000 jumps once a week. Could jumping rope be a cause of my herniated discs? Before the diagnosis, I was even considering increasing the difficulty by using a weighted vest. There seems to be very little information about the link between herniated discs and jumping rope.
Get Lean Set The jump rope set designed for your weight loss goals. Includes Slim Handles, 1/4 LB Rope, and 1/2 LB Rope. 4 payments with * $129 that is a crime to charge that much😂
its muscle memory. can you jump 3x on one leg and then switch? usually its easier to do this and you can practice alternating feet this way. You got this 💪🏻
Budak2 umur 8 tahun lebih dari 5 minit rasanya ada yang rebah kalau lihat pada muka mereka sorang2 masa buat ni. Umur 40 tahun keatas pun susah ni. Kuat merokok? Mungkin meninggal terus.😂😂😂😂
this is great i joined a boxing gym last week and we needed to do this and ive never skipped so couldn't do it at all. with this ill be able to get the rhythm down and gain the endurance for when i add a rope to the mix
Niiiiiice dude! Dunno what ropes they are using over the in the boxing gym, but if you are just learning, the feedback of a 1/4 or 1/2 pound crossrope will turn you into a pro in NO TIME! (and it'll up your endurance game QUICKLY cause' 3 minute rounds are no joke).
Hey man, I just started your videos three weeks ago. And it was because of you inspiring me to learn. I am able to jump greatly but I still have a couple of mess ups. I just want to say a huge thank you to you and your buddies making this inspiring videos, THANK YOU🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for this video! Perfect timing for me, I was looking for some inspiration for my jump roping skills this morning & saw that you uploaded this video. I will incorporate these 5 steps today!
