*DRIVEN PASS* is essentially all about 1) creating back spin on the ball and 2) making sure we generate enough power to make the ball travel far & fast. *THE BIGGEST ENEMY* of the Driven Pass is curve/side spin - which happens when you connect with the ball too much on either side. We *avoid the annoying side spin* by hitting the center of the ball in the lower half in order to *only generate back spin.* Once you understand that 1) BACK SPIN and 2) POWER are the most important things here, it all gets a little easier ;)
I love how jolter not only performs the low driven pass, but even his left hand is telling the goal/team mate its low by pointing down to the ground 👇😂 keep up the sweet work. Looking forward to the new boot release!!
The driven pass is such a great skill to add in your passing arsenal, especially if you want to switch the play or make a transition from defense to offense in the fastest manner possible. I think Pogba has one of the best use of the driven pass in modern football :) Great video!
I always enjoy all of the tutorials from Unisport but I especially love that Joltter always drives home the message that watching a video once, will not make you a better footballer. You have to put in the time and effort to train, train, and then train some more to see any results. And as a youth coach I think this is something that really needs to be emphasized with kids (and not all coaches are willing to do this). Especially with all the content they are exposed to with RU-vid, Instagram, etc. They see skills and think they can do it automatically but they never think about the need to practice and train in order to truly be able to master something. And not only the ability to technically do it but also use it appropriately in a tactical sense. Love Unisport and all the videos!
Used to play football a long time ago (more than 10 years). Was never the best one at touches or fancy footworks and used to be a defender, yet what made me have some love from the teammates was this. Definitely one of the most if not the most satisfying passes to give and teammates always appreciate a good one. One thing if I may add for the young lads, the power will come eventually (I would even go as far saying automatically) if you have the right technique so don't worry about that part. The points mentioned are to the point here. Try to make sure not to generate sidespin while practicing and you will be surprised how fast, far and accurate the ball travels.
This channel is very underrated because their every video is above average. Their tutorials constantly motivate me to get better...Seriously, Awesome as Always
I wish I could master a new skill every time @ joltter says “ baam” . I would become the best player on the planet who all agrees likes a count how much
Thanks unisport for this tutourial i have problems with shooting buy my instinct told me to use the driven pass as a shooting technique and it actually worked for me although its not the right way of shooting. But i think this technique can be used for shooting and chipping but for shooting i use a lot of power
Finally i been waiting for this for so much time now but question is it important to have strength in my legs again to be able to be able to do it ? Since i just started playing again and before i was able to do it now lost all techniques
I just don't know the name of all skills and tricks 🤣😂 but but whatever you teach us is a new lesson to us. I see and try to practice it for better play.
