Why does she have a slight h sound at the end of the word "nuit"? Thanks! I always think and hear people saying it as /nɥi/. Same for when she ends any words with a vowel. Is that a common accent?

The words that people who introduce theirselves in a conversation talking in French are not difficult, in my opinion. That what mainly expected is the subject of the dialogue. To understand the spoken speech is easy for people who lived and learned Latin idiom since the childhood. I think the great reaching to express what you want to speak in perfect French speech is how say the nasal vocal sounds in the beginning, middle and mainly in the end of the words composed by them.

Lya, helpful! One feedback could be that I wish it was more in the order of first introducing yourself, let's say when you first get to France. Teaching us phrases that help us understand each other more, such as: "what is your name?", "where are you from?", "how do you say", "where is the ____", "can you repeat it, please?" and of course, how to say "I'm hungry", cuz that's always useful. Merci beaucoup Lya!

Very informative! A few other variations on some of these, if you want more options: Coucou! (cc for text talk, pronounced "coo coo" like for Coco Puffs, means hey) Ouais! (means yeah, pronounced "way") Je vous en prie/Je t'en prie (informal person addressed) (pronounced "jeh voos uhn pree/jeh t-uhn pree" MUCH more formal way of saying "you're welcome!" since "de rien" is basically like "de nada" like, "it's nothing" essentially -I think?-) Pardonez-moi! (Pronounced "pardonay mwah" same thing as excusez-moi) Vraiment? (same thing as c'est vrai, only this literally means "really?" as opposed to "that's true?" pronounced vray-munh?) They can also say "OK" in addition to d'accord. Instead of saying "je peux" you can say "puis-je" which is usually more formal (pronounced "pwee jeh") In lieu of (au lieu de) saying "bonsoir" or something, in order to say "have a nice night/day!" say "bonne soirée/journée!" (pronounced "bunn swarh-ay/joor-nay!") and it means have a good LENGTH of the night/entire night or day.
