Just finished up a carved dog's head walking stick. The head is pine with a walnut transition piece on a maple stick. Lots of details in the video on the steps taken to carve this one out. Finished it with some chip carving and rotary tool details along the shaft. Used some Tung and Teak oil to give it a nice protective coat.

Thank you… the set was from Habor Freight, spent a few hours sharpening everything and then they worked well.

Thank you! It was actually a 3” twist nail I had in my extra pile. Not enough of them to keep for a project, but they make great joints once epoxied in place!

@@carolrandall6812 sorry, I don’t have any patterns, I just freehand each design as I go. I use a lot of reference pictures from the net to get a sense of what it should look like before hand
