That's another one put to bed. I too was wondering about using one sketch but I see you have answered that. 👍

awesome video. First question is why didn't you do that all as one sketch? second, how do we adjust lighting, where do we find the settings?

That's a great question in which you were paying attention! It was only a matter of time before this came up lol. Yes, you definitely could have completed the profile all in one sketch. Keep in mind however, there is always a different way to accomplish the same task. With Fusion 360 you have to think outside the box because some of the simple tasks that you can complete in other software such as Solidworks and Inventor, you have to accomplish it in different ways. In this case I took the liberty of adding that extra step along the way to accomplish the same thing. This way you aren't stuck in to thinking in only one dimension.

I'm not getting the triangle or the X with the construction line.

Go to your icon in the top right corner select preferences. Under General, select Design. Over on the right, let me know what you don't have checked.

@CADJungle I do not have "Allow 3D sketching of lines and splines", "Auto project edges on reference", and "Scale entire sketch at first dimension" not selected. My preferences should all be default.
