So strike bottom is something new! New grip new feeling it's gonna take some time to be used to that! So don't worry if you can't do it at the first go , just follow the steps in the video and you'll be able to learn it fairly quickly! I forgot to mention one point though, and that is watch others performing it and don't make mistakes they do! Keep refining it! Although strike bottoms is not a technique I've practiced a lot but i used to be able to perform it decently! So don't worry it's not hard at all it's on the easier side! Just remember index and base of thumb are the only ones doing stuff other fingers are just there to provide cover! Don't let them interfere! Keep them normally bent but more towards straighter side! Practice alternating between tops and bottoms! Don't nectie too much or deal too fast!
Practice slow and smooth not fast and improper!
And I'm down if you have suggestions queries or advices
or even just want to be friends with!

Thank you for watching the video

Very good. Bottom dealing from a mechanic's grip is far superior (although much more difficult) than from straddle or Erdnase grip. The biggest hurdle in Mechanic's grip bottom deal is keeping the deck under control. Three main issues of any bottom deal is rythm, sound and knuckle flash. The more one can reduce these issues the more deceptive the deal will turn out. Good luck to all!
@crococroco.22
@crococroco.22 Год назад
It is a nice idea to be able to deal from the normal grip but erdnase grip is much better much more comfortable and much easier to deal with ! That's what makes the normal grip difficult right! It can't stay under control! Cards have to skip and get out of control The rhythm and knuckle flash can be controlled but the deck no man it's the real challenge!
@aqeelkhurshid4860
@aqeelkhurshid4860 Год назад
It's true Erdnase grip bottom dealing is a lot easier to control the deck with, Also you only have two fingers to clear when pulling out the bottom card. But I always thought this grip doesn't look natural. There aren't many historic sources on bottom dealing from a mechanic's grip. To learn this you have to just refine it over time making small adjustments. But first the deck needs to be controlled between the index finger and base of the palm. You have to feel comfortable and confident with the deck in this position. Your tutorial is one of the very few I've seen using the mechanic's grip 👍 Here a link to one of the best demonstration of false deals I've ever seen. Perhaps on par with Richard turner and Steve Forte's deals. Enjoy! m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X0YMaEnGxok.html

@@aqeelkhurshid4860 sorry for the late reply RU-vid didn't notify me and Gary plants I've heard about him! The demonstration also looks nice! And about erdnase grip i have seen people deal from the erdnase grip without knowing! There are people who's comfortable grip is the erdnase grip! Their natural grip! But to be honest i also think the natural grip or the mechanics grip is much...better to show, at least you are aware that if you use that grip nobody will question it, but this trip is much more difficult to accomplish and even make look real! It makes more sound and is uncomfortable but it looks natural! Doesn't feel but looks natural! Also something else, if you ever plan to film a demonstration of the bottom deal don't deal snap down all the cards (like the Gary plant video first part) try to pitch the cards away from the deck and if you can pitch the bottoms as well! If you try snap downs for your demonstration you better make sure it's damn near impossible to see the discrepancy and the angles are good, because since the cards are being dealt so close to the deck you can easily spot the discrepancy! Your flow might be excellent your patter might be excellent your technique might be excellent too! But if the angle isn't in your favour...well then all of it won't matte because the discrepancy can give it away instantly! Just something i think to be true... Thank you!!!

depends on what you want to achieve with your bottoms? for magicians anything would do but when playing in real life for money, dozens of people watching over your shoulders and all the players being focused on your hands.....grips might not work. so usually a modified grip (any grip) or to my personal experience square john grip works the best under fire

Sorry for the late reply, yt didn't give me any notification and I've never heard of this grip, could you show me how it's done? Also yeah high stakes game a lot of eyes on the dealer by the watchers true but, if you get comfortable with something then it means you practiced with it a lot, if you've practiced a lot then the chances of mess ups are lessened and anyway, yes I don't know much about too many people watching i never worked in such a scenario myself so I am not sure if I'm even the right person to talk about it but that's all what I think lol

@crococroco.22
@crococroco.22 2 месяца назад
For strike second deal you need to use your other fingers which are on the long edge of the deck to prevent that For push off second, if you learn the push off double lift you'll be fine For bottom deals, you just need to practice with fewer cards until you get it right and once you do, apply the same for the whole deck Hope it helps

Hi, I just found your channel but already I can say that your tutorials are far better than all the other ones I've learned from so far. Ive been practicing the Erdnase push off bottom deal that daniel roy made a video on, would you recommend a push off or a strike bottom deal? Which one do you think is better visually?
@crococroco.22
@crococroco.22 Год назад
Thank you so much man ! Means a lot to me!! Okay so you can sort of compare bottom to the seconds, not in technical way but in terms of learning process and how you want to execute! So, if you just want to learn a deal fast which will get by laymen then go for nothing better than strike seconds, you can't fool a magician with a strike second never (but feel free to prove the world wrong) so if you want to learn a false deals which you can do fast and learn fast then go for strike seconds! Although it's not very visual but you'll learn is quickly compared to the push offs it's difficult in my opinion to fool someone with a strike second... Now moving on to push offs Choose push off if you are training for something very visual, but push offs are difficult! Learning it is difficult! But you can fool a magician and a layman with a good push off (second or bottom) They have their advantages and disadvantages! There are i think now this is my honest opinion i think there are exceptions to the rule i just said... Like i said i think And they are 1. In GSOH there is a strike second deal method which is my favourite and i think has a ton of potential! It's a HIT style second deal! It isn't easy to learn compared to traditional strike seconds But i like it myself! 2. HIT bottom deal or Robison HIT deal They are strike bottoms but they look really good when executed correctly! They're very visual! I like them myself! Do check those out as well okay?

Fantastic video......does what it says on the tin. I have been looking a long time for a tutorial on the strike bottom with someone who can do it well. I do a strike myself but find with a new deck several cards like to slide off the bottom at once.....I will run thru these techniques to see if I can combat it. Thanks
@crococroco.22
@crococroco.22 Год назад
Well with new cards i believe the grip has to be a bit tighter... And, middle ring and pinky do nothing but make the grip look normal right ? So I believe you can use those as a stopper to right after the bottom has been slid out, you can sneakily square the bottom half while talking or gesturing, and using new cards is generally not a good idea, broken in deck and a little older broken in deck is usually the time where a deck is at its best! Also! Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked my video !!

Your bottom deal looks good. How long did it take you to get to this level? How many hours a day?
@crococroco.22
@crococroco.22 Год назад
Thank you so much and I didn't know how to do it i had to practically discover(rediscover) it for myself so it took me longer than it should to be able to learn it, way longer i should say, but with the techniques I've provided and the practice drills, you might be able to learn it quicker than you should have! It's what I believe at least i did my best to break it down as low as possible, but it should take you 3-4 days Max to be able to execute it not invisibly but to execute it, the invisible factor depends upon how long you have been doing the deal, how well you're practicing the correct techniques, filming and criticizing yourself, spotting and minimising discrepancies between true and false by practicing doing both in same manner, and basically to summarise keep filming yourself and criticizing yourself until you no longer feel that your deal is bad So the benchmarks are You fooling your friend even after telling them exactly what you're gonna do! If you do it with many friends then your bottom deals are decent If you can DEMONSTRATE it and still fool the Audience then it is good enough to be executed If you fool yourself even after knowing what you did then you've achieved the impossible! So don't forget the manner of dealing, nectie-ing, speed, suspicious hand movements, flow, and techniques in pursuit of the impossible, people tend to forget that so their deal will be technically invisible but fundamentally (from a laymen's perspective) extremely suspicious, so keep that in mind as well! Good luck learning it!

How long did it take to learn
@crococroco.22
@crococroco.22 Год назад
Learning is actually very easy, it's getting used to it so much that you won't repeat the steps in your mind is the tedious part, and even that isn't difficult it's just a fact that you're gonna have to do it for a long time to get used to it Learning the bottom deal depends on the type of it too For example straddle is easiest, strike is a bit difficult (mech grip) erdnase is idk about the same so yeah To answer your question it took me like 2 days or something and I'm still perfecting it.

@@Population_one760 the pace and flow is actually good! But i see one minor problem... I see one inconsistency... When you deal yourself it's like you're tossing the card in your hand before dealing which...looks odd...and might raise suspicion... Like i said you might wanna look at other people executing.it and emulate the same action! The reasons of being consistent and not changing actions often is something i explain in my bottom dealing tutorials already...

thats called a hanger kid when u grab more than one card from the bottom. things they tell you on videos are all false and have got nothing to do with using the bottoms under fire. Dai Vernon, Ed Marlo etc etc, they got thier videos out on bottoms and even modern card men who claim to be so called "mechanics" and they are not gamblers. they are just some people who learnt a few things watching some videos. Even professor could not figure out the real techniques in false deals even though he travelled probably 25% of his life meeting various gamblers. in real games, under fire, grips dont work and dont matter and honestly speaking, false deals are just a small part of the entire scam.........good luck learning from such videos
