You give away more knowledge for free than can be gotten from some others for a lot of money. I respect that a great deal and it speaks to your character. Someone who takes the time and the interest in passing along hard earned knowledge simply for the sake of helping others improve is often hard to find. Thank you. I never fail to learn something from you.
Well Michael, your kind and thoughtful words made my day How nice is this I’m glad that this is helpful for ya and thanks again for the time you took to say so 🤙
There are so many great ideas in your videos. Each time you put a new one out, I learn another couple if really neat tricks. Thanks again mate. Truly appreciated 🙏
Good afternoon, George. By far, as most say, the best tutorials on the tube. Nothing left out, and your videos are easy to follow without sound. Maybe cause I have an idea of what you're doing 😂. Have a great day, sir.
Yes this is used primarily in holster design but works great for these boxy folders and various caliber magazines I appreciate you watching and leaving such kind words. I thank you
Hey there Mr George; after watching your tubes I've found some answers to questions I've had. I like your chanel. I'll watch and follow it as long as you want to keep putting it on. Thanks
Thanks Dennis! That is exactly what I like to hear. If anything I put out there is valuable then I’m happy. I should have Volume 12 ready for Saturday or Sunday. Thanks
I am preparing to make a couple dagger sheaths and decided it was time to go back to sheath school. I greatly appreciate your videos, I've probably watched the tips and tricks vids 3-4 times, they're great for inspiration.
Thanks AgaIn, George, for a detailed loom at pattern creation. Templates are nice, but it's better to be able to create any style of sheath, to suit yourself or a client's taste. You're method allows that while still insuring a safe, reliable item!
Thank you John Sorry I’m late to responding but I so appreciate your kind words Yes indeed learning to draw these gives one the freedom to be more creative You Rock!!
Thank you so much for a fantastic lesson in leathercraft. I’ve never done it, but I am amazed at how well you can teach leathercraft to someone. I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching many of your videos. Thanks again.
Hello Ronald Thank you for your kind words This comment was so appreciated in that I just assumed anyone who watched my video’s had some basic background in leatherwork Thanks for sharing this with me Made my day actually
@@viktorgeorge9144 your welcome. Same hear. Great video. I haven't made a pancake sheath yet. It looked like fun. I need to get some leather . Oh ya happy 4th of July. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.
Once again... Great stuff George ! I really like your patterning techniques and I pick up neat ideas from you! I have always tended to use commercial patterns, but you have given me some great ideas!. Thanks, Fred
Thanks Fred Developing patterns is fun for me but they don’t always translate to a successful build😂 I hope this helps you start your pancake sheath patterning👍
@@viktorgeorge9144 I am positive it will help ! I ordered me a set of those templates as well. Nice to have a good collection of those for all kinds of things, plus a big help when designing. I have been using standard cutout ones from Don, but need to be able to do my own as well.
It’ll allow you the confidence to build ones for Leathermen style, firearm magazines and various folders as well. Thanks friend and I hope you sell a ton 🤙
So I know you eyeballed the cant angle but how would you go about measuring it for different lays? Is it the angle from the top of 1 belt loop to the other?
That is correct Or draw a straight line thru the slots on your pattern as well as drawing a 90 degree horizontal baseline The angle between those two lines is your cant Hope that makes sense
Thank You I looked at my slot edger and it’s not numbered but I’d say that would be a good assumption on the number two Thanks for giving me another source for these. I also think that brucejohnsonleather.com might also
Thanks Sorry for the late response but once the belt is weaved thru the slots, like in this build, the belt and slots align I probably should have shown in more detail the pancake sheath on the belt. Thank you
Where can I get one of those slot edgers? It's always tough with a regular edgers not chewing up the curve. Also great tutorial got a lot of good tips and ideas as usual 👌
@@viktorgeorge9144 I seem to have trouble finding the site you mentioned. Also I don't have Gmail. What are they called I can do a search? Thank you Victor
