In this video, I start with 16-gauge wire, which will be forged into shape. I'll then solder the studs to transform them into a pair of huggie hoops. Finally, I'll hammer the pieces to add a textured finish.

Thanks. This has been very helpful. I'm going to try them. I tried copper hoops with a silver stud but I had so much trouble connecting the stud with flux. I melted 3 18 g. handmade studs on just one hoop. Finally got it using copper studs in 20 g. But it was a struggle. Love all your videos.

You're very welcome! I am glad that my content help you to create.. about the silver and copper, this make sense, the copper melting point is higher than those of silver.
