Hi there! Chicago in the house! I know I am late to the party, yet you are one of the best teachers I have ever seen and you are awesome and inspiring every single time! You asked what our fave 90's bands were, well I have seen STP live at the United Center, fantastic show! DeLeo is one of the GOAT, very underrated imo. My personal favorites though, in no particular order are Nirvana and Soundgarden, *Chris Cornell* to be exact with all due respect to the other guys in SG. Do you think you could do a riff rundown of one of Chris Cornell's best songs? Love the Riff Rundowns. I'd like to point out that you're due for another Pink Floyd song, if you ask me, and I wanted to suggest, Is There Anybody Out There from The Wall. The acoustic guitar in the second half is, IMO, one of the most beautiful guitar pieces Floyd ever recorded.

Ia have watched lots of videos about how to play this amazing song accoustic, and you are the only one with the right tone. All of them use the same tone of the studio version, which is higher. Thanks for this!!!!

The sense of community is amazing and building up in here "...and I feel it" Oh, yes! That rocks! Keep that great balance of theory, skills, and concepts. Thanks Angela, I tried ELP in the beginning but I'm struggling with it for now. I will circle back to learn it completely but need to get more acquainted with my Martin Mini. Just switched to medium D'Addario from ultra lights which were to tingy sounding. Love your easy going guidance in learning songs that I like. Plus your easy on the eyes!

You pick songs that are so musical and uplifting! As an extra bonus we also get music theory. Some of these chord transitions bring feelings with some soft tears. Kenosha, WI.

Thanks Angela - been playing this for years and just walked down the G (1/2 step) to F (just bottom 3 strings) instead of the D over F# and didn't notice a difference. Notice a slight difference here but love my way of transitioning to F which falls so naturally. That's the only difference I noticed.

Hi there it's 4:00pm Fri 7th I've been practicing Melissa, Leyenda, and copying words down from the almond brothers I want to learn more of there music because there's also slide and I've been practicing but want to get better. Great bar chord tips! I really never got much past beginner level on this. When in the way past the music I performed (worship) I didn't need them. I did try to so we all weren't playing chords on the same distance on the neck. One of players preferred always high so I would also besides playing low try some mid-range bar chords.

I've been playing That e flat major 7 with 1st finger fret one on the D string and finger 3 barring the high E , B and G on fret 3 and seems to sound identical to the other one. I was having major problems getting that note to sound right stretching the 3 to 5th and 6th fret. I have big fat stove up hands and just can't seem to get it! Oh yeah and only play from the d string down Don't play the top two strings and it sounds pretty much like playing it at the third fifth and 6th fret

Maybe l missed something but l don’t recall you saying how you were strumming without making the chord ring out, throughout almost the whole song, lol! Also, were you playing the low e in the pre-chorus, muting it or avoiding it? Do you ever read and respond to your ??/comments?
