John Denver? Absolutely! John Denver is awesome! Best part is you don't have to watch some pony tail guy in sandals teaching you how to play it! This is a simple version that sounds great! Check out the Classic Guitar Rock shop at: classic-guitar...

Great lesson. I’m struggling with the walk up at 4:50. Can you explain those 3 chords?

SING! You are so right. And this is perfect for a novice player, who won't sound so novice if they learn to play it like this. I am. Thanks for this!

Thank you. I recently got on a John Denver kick. Your lesson is very good. I can now play this wonderful song. I skipped over the walk up chords for the "Casual Reply" phrase. I just go straight from the D shape on the second fret and then after a brief pause I go straight to the D shape on the 7th fret.. it works great. Thanks again.

This is the best video that I’ve seen yet on this song, but I’m having a tough time seeing where your finger placement is on some of the cords. Do you have something we could download that shows the tab chords? Great stuff though!!

Hi. This is great. I can follow all except one chord. The A chord. Are you doing the A different? Can see exactly how your doing the A.

Hi Kaylee! Thanks for watching. I play it this way because it's easier for me to play than on the recording. I'm sure you'll sound great!

Does anyone know what those 3 chords are at 2:05? I'm trying to figure out how to play this on my baritone uke. Much obliged.

Thanks so much. I can actually, well, sort of play this song thanks to you. Curious what strumming pattern you are using. Not good enough to figure it out on my own and like the rhythm you use. Is this 4-4 time? Any strumming pattern hints are appreciated!

I wish people would share info regarding the strumming… it seems so crucial but, most people skip it

Thank you! My biggest complaint, Would you please sing or hum the the damn tune! Look I get it I myself can sing but even if you can't just hum the song. If they don't people get lost. Especially beginners to intermediate players. So thanks again for calling them out. They may be great players but I CAN HEAR YOU.......LOL

Drop D just means your low E string is tuned down to a D note

Dan, I play everything "wrong" - there's no such thing as playing a song wrong - it might be different than a particular recording but that's what's great about art. But I'll send folks to your channel to learn it the right way! Thanks for watching!
