The Flippy Skirt is a great pattern for anyone who is looking for their next sewing challenge of inserting an invisible zipper. The skirt features 8 panels that are fitted to the hip and then flare out to create a fun and bouncy mini skirt. The hem is finished with an inside facing and there is a narrow, fused waistband. This is a digital PDF pattern contains a 16 page instruction book that can be downloaded immediately after purchase. The pattern can be printed on either A4 or US Letter paper. Instruction on printing are contained inside. Print at 100% scaling. This pattern has a scale test to ensure you have printed your pattern correctly. No physical item will be sent. This pattern is perfect for anyone who is up for the challenge of inserting an invisible zipper. There is also hand sewing required for this style, howeveer you can choose to use the sewing machine for all steps if you would prefer. There is a RU-vid video tutorial available at this link: • Learn to Sew: Flippy S... . This will help you out with every step along the way. The whole garment can be made from start to finish in around 4-5 hours. Always remember to take your time and make a mock up in a cheaper fabric before you begin on the final project. This will allow you to make any alterations before you begin ensuring perfect fit.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
1.4m (1.5 yards) main fabric 140cm (1.5 yards) wide.
Woven, low/non stretch fabrics are most suitable for this style.
Optional - 1.4m (1.5 yards) lining fabric 140cm (1.5 yards) wide.
If your fabric is sheer or very lightweight, you can cut out lining pieces and baste them to the main.
45cm (0.5 yards) fusible interfacing
Use your iron to attach this to the hem facing pieces and the waistband.

20cm (8") invisible zipper
Hand sewing needle
Invisible zipper sewing machine foot
Matching sewing thread
