I really like the idea of monthly drills. This will give my girlfriend and I an excuse to use our range membership instead of always giving priority to something else. Even without the prizes, please keep this up

Dryfire reps, presentations/draws. Work on keeping that dot where you want it to be when you break the trigger. The misconception is you need to go slow to accomplish this. More than likely what is happening is you are compensating high right to land hits center when you go slow. With enough reps, you'll be able to physically abuse your trigger into submission and your dot will not move. It just takes time. We all struggle with this as newer pistol shooters, so don't beat yourself up. Use the low left performance and frustration to channel that energy into growth.

Magazine are consumables. They break and get lost you should have a minimum of 6, more is better, for each firearm you have that takes a mag. You have to factor magazine cost into the price of the firearm. Without mags and ammo rifles and pistols become very expensive poorly shaped sticks and rocks.
