I’d put priority on the following: 1- Carry pistol 2- PDW of some flavor for bag gun/home defense 3- A fighting rifle in 5.56 4- Semi auto with magnified optic in a full size caliber like 308, 6.5, etc.

@@RustyStator My thinking based on my personal circumstances to include my physical limitations. I’m far more likely to need and use a PDW than my fighting rifle as I’m way past frontline service material at this point in life. That’s why I also put carry pistol above everything else. 100% aligned, sir. I love my discrete Vertx sling bag in a blue-ish plaid...very much not tactical and no outside label or name. On a side note, I recently asked my daughter "what's a pistol for?" and she said "to get to your rifle"...and "then, what's a rifle for?"..."to get home." She's learning well.

I’m with you on this. Be wary of the Stribog, however. I’ve had nothing but issues with my sp9a3 and it’s a 6xxx serial. Currently, it will not cycle and I have to table rack it to eject rounds. I’ve broken it down, no metal on metal, I’m at a loss. I’ve sent it to them twice. Glad I got it cheap on auction.

@@NotLKay I wish I had the same experience. I love the gun. That roller delayed action is so smooth, it’s like a super budget mp5…. I’m hoping they’ll rectify this problem and I can just run the gun. This video has been in my feed for a few days now, it’s how that algorithm works. I was hesitant to watch his video because, well let me explain why. Like other channels in genre, "Top etc. etc. You should have" I find it most of the time to be more show and tell of your personal guns. Don’t get me wrong. The production was beautiful. Your words came out very clear. I feel and yes this is my opinion just like it’s anybody else’s, real world applications should be set on why you believe these are your top picks. example you say you carry that in the theater, I would like to see you sitting down in the chair, similar to the theater, and how you would react with that same weapon if you had to stand up unpack and use. I feel like these videos that show the same range running, the same drills 1 million times on places familiar do not show practical use for the every day person who watches these types of videos. I think we would all like to see or I would, to show exactly why do you prefer these weapons in those specific scenarios. In my opinion if things hit the fan, besides training, caliber availability is the most important if you need to roll around jump over things the last thing on your mind is shoot I should’ve grabbed the 10 inch instead of the 12 inch barrel. But the most important thing is training, you can buy any hammer you want. Does it mean you know how to build a house? I appreciate your time making a video I do feel like it should be more in-depth. Why are you make the decisions for your pick. To me it’s just start sounding like a commercial. Sidenote, keeping your gun discreet is important, but not if you have to register it because big brother knows what you have.

1) carry gun that can be a duty gun - Glock 19 2) bag gun - 8" 300 blk 3) fighting rifle - 16" 5.56 with ability to accept bayonet 4) long range rifle - either a spr barrel 5.56, a lightweight or heavy weight 308 (accuracy matters more than barrel thickness or length), or bolt gun in 6.5 creed, 308, or heavier magnum calibers. If they're all ar15/ar10s, you get the ability to use a common set of optics and switch them back and forth. Not very often someone would want to use a 300 blk with a heavy scope, but it should be a possibility

A deep conceal pistol (380). A compact pistol (9mm). A full size pistol. A pistol carbine 5.5-7.5 300blackout red dot. 2 carbines 11.5-12.5 556 red dot and magnifier, lpvo or acog. A 16-18in 556 with a magnified scope. A 16-20in 308/6.5c ar with a magnified scope. Anything longer should probably be paired with the skills to actually implement it, which many don’t have. Bolt could possibly be the better option as it would save on weight.

I’d argue going ccw to getting a 16” squared away before pdw or ~10” for most people. With a folder it’s still easy to toss into a duffel bag. It’s going to give you the most versatility out of one gun then you can start filling the more niche gaps once it’s complete and you’re trained on it.

My 4 would be carry pistol, PDW SBR, 16’ ar-15, & a big bore ar-10. I love bolt action and they do have their use & place in our arsenal. But if I had to pick between an AR-10 or a bolt action, I’d have to go with the AR. Simply because if I had to use either of said rifles in a fight or in a defensive situation, we all know that a big bore AR would be better in that situation. Not to discredit or take anything from bolt action rifles. I love bolt actions. They are made & held to a better quality than most rifles. Brands like Christensen Arms build some of the most beautiful bolt action rifles & they guarante sub moa from their bolt rifles! Awesome video bro.

To me, choose either a 10.5” 5.56 or a shorter 300 BLK. They’re both meant to fill the same role, so pick the one that best suits your individual needs. The rifle not talked about but incredibly important is a general purpose main battle rifle (M1A, FAL, PTR91, SCAR or XCR-M if you have the money, etc.) because that will most readily defend your liberty when under direct assault. When that’s at stake, you’re not going to care about if the rifle fits in a backpack. To me, the backpack gun (supported by your concealed handgun) is what you use to fight your way back to your battle rifle. You’re not worried about it being too heavy to carry a considerable distance, because its intent is to defend your fortress. Your other smaller lighter rifles are there to support that effort and provide some firepower when mobility is the priority.

As the owner of WAY too many guns, I believe it's time for me to downsize and concentrate on a handful (OK, maybe two or three handfuls 🤣) of guns and calibers and convert the proceeds into reloading components, spare parts and spare ammunition. I wished that I would have adhered to the "buy once, cry once" belief long before I acquired a huge amount of mediocre, substandard garbage, especially in the optics department!

P320 Compact EDC Pistol + Flux Raider PDW in a Vertx Tourist sling for out and about mag interop w/Cam-LOK mounting of my SiCo Osprey can on both. Home defense is a Griffin 9” .300BO AR suppressed w/Griffin’s Bushwhacker can. Finally I run a .308 18” Tavor 7 with OSS QD7.62 can for recce scenarios. Of course I’ve got a bunch of 13.7” 5.56 ARs with KeyMo mount interoperability and a few Sandman-L cans on them. Primary Arms ACSS reticle on long guns, Holosun circle-dot reticle on the pistol cal guns.

1. 9mm pistol ccw/ secondary 2. Shotgun with breaching capability 3. AR15 10.3-16 inch barrel 4. AR10 16-20 inch barrel in .308 or bolt action in .308, 30.06 or .300wm Then being proficient in these weapon systems is so important. AR10s can get heavy but they can really make up for fire suppression in long distance.

4 guns. Good ccw/duty pistol setup. Shotgun. Good 16" battle rifle and honestly something for accurate medium range (800m max), whether that's some kinda gas gun like ar15 shooting 77grs or an ar10 or even a bolt gun. As long as it can accurately reach out it'll serve its purpose

You need the basics first, agreed. The four you mentioned are solid. Adding other firearms such as a lever action, shotgun, 22lr rifles/pistols are also needed for other purposes. Hunting firearms are also needed in some cases in the United States. Especially where dangerous big game are located.

Pretty similar 1. 10.3-12.5 5.56 with a folding adapter. 2. 16-18 5.56 3. PDW. Glock mag 9mm compatible. Flux Raider is interesting. Deals are everywhere with the brace issue. Kriss vectors in 9mm are 750-800 now 4. Semi or bolt 308. Bolt can be much cheaper to start. But can turn into an addiction too. I would also add a spot for suppressors. One 45 can, .22 can and a 30 cal can. I more spot for a good .22 rifle.

If we're saying only 5 guns for any scenario. I'd say Micro 300 blk Capable carry pistol 16 inch 5.56 with lpvo and offset red dot Pump shotgun. Most capable gun to gather diverse set of food 22 cal rifle I dont think a bolt gun is necessary, especially here in Lebanon County where in no situation would you shoot more than 300 yards But after you have those core 5, I'd get a bolt gun and more 5.56 guns

All nice setups. The only thing I would change is the trigger guard. They need to be curved so you can have gloves on without having to push the pin in to drop the front part of the trigger guard to get it out of the way for gloves.

I'm similar...kind of: -10.5 5.56 Suppressed, white light, red dot (Bag or HD) -13.9 5.56 Suppressed, white light, 5x prism scope (Mid-Range) -18 .223 wylde Suppressed, white light, 2.5-10 scope (Long Range) -Beretta 1301 Tactical , white light, circle dot (HD) Bonus! -JM Pro Series Tactical Class, white light (Birds? 2nd shotgun for HD for the Mrs.) For the Rifles, all can run same ammo if need be. All can run the same suppressor. Allows you to focus on one caliber, mags, and gear system. Less calibers to stockpile as well. For Shotguns, both 12ga, both deadly at HD ranges and versatile with various loads.

I'd only sub an AR10 variant with a 16" barrel and light weight construction. Urban area with lumpy terrain means I probably won't need to make more than a 400 yard shot. Side note: I've become a fan of InForce lights. Inexpensive and light weight with IR+white light capability. Surefire is better and stronger. I can just as easily buy a bunch of InForce lights to replace anything that breaks. Put them up top and no need to worry about a pressure pad. The only downside is losing ambi features if you have an IR laser up top and the InForce on the side.

I know I’m not the person you were hoping would reply, but I feel like the pistol chassis systems that recovery tactical has for the Glock, or there’s is one out there that is for the sig p320 (don’t know the brand name off hand) I know of the reviews I’ve seen on the recovery tactical, it seems to be a great option for what your looking for. Hope this helps! I am about to be making a custom pistol pdw chassis for my Taurus g3 that is along the same lines as the chassis for the glock( wish me luck😅)

The only thing I would disagree with is the absolute need for a bolt-action rifle. I believe a reliable AR-10 fills that slot quite well. I'm not going for a 1k yard plus accuracy bench gun. I look for rifles to fill a niche in my arsenal, and my overall rule is practicality. I look at guns as "fun at the range" for now, and "honest implementation of the 2nd Amendment" eventually (inevitably?). If I have a 308 gas gun that reliably hits targets at 100-400 yards, that works for me.

A 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC between 12 and 13" with a bird cage FH and a 1-8x LPVO gives you a VERY versatile package. For that specific setup, I recommend running a dual beam IR/White flashlight and a DBAL with something along the lines of a Holosun 407C/507C mounted at 12 o'clock over the optic. If you're running one tube, and are a right handed shooter, run the tube over your left eye and can't the rifle towards your left side and passive aim with your NOD. The increased height above bore of the dot with the correct zero also makes close-mid range ballistics appear/act VERY flat. 100 gr 6.5 Grendel, +4.5" height over bore, 2500 fps (actual MV is closer to 2450-2475 generally with that barrel length) you're hitting over your point of aim by 3" at 150 yds, and under by 5.5" at 300. Even at 500 yds with a 12.5" barrel, you're in the ballpark of 600 ft lbs of energy. The 123 gr Scenar rounds in 6.5 Grendel out of a 12.5" barrel matches the velocity of a 7.62x39 123 gr FMJ through a 16" tube almost exactly.

The brace rule kills the pdw idea for me. Now i have to form 1 it and fill out paperwork and wait for the return before i can cross state lines. When i tarvel is when i want a pdw the most. Otherwise a suppressed 14.5 or 13.7 with a lpvo will do most of what you want a rifle to do

An aero M5 with a proof research CF 18" barrel is a touch heavy, but brings the best of both worlds vs a bolt gun. Sub MOA with many fast follow up shots possible. You also completely neglected the large magnums. A Christenson arms CF PRS in 338 Lapua is a very, very light option that also has a side folding stock to offset the 27" barrel. Not only does it have reach, but it can shrug off most lvl IV armor with some spicy 225's or 250's. Or go all out with some spun 300 solids.
