Thanks a lot for this clip! I think it's a great format, just like this. No frills, no distracting English audio 👏👏👏 If you make more like this (shorter is fine, too, if that is better for monetisation), I don't think I'd want to miss any of them. Thanks again TVO 💛

very nice - thank you. Just one minus: the indication to other videos comes too early making it hard to read the Vietnamese text.

For "Nhẹ cả người," the fast version sounds to me like it begins with "Nhẽ." Is it just me or does the tone change for this with rapid speech?

Because of the sensational express.

It's too bad the 50 phrases here aren't listed in the description underneath the YT vid, so they can be copied-and-pasted if desired. (e.g., "1. How have you been? Dao nay the nao?" (with the tones included) "2. Nice to meet you...." etc.) This would be very useful. Also, although different pronouns COULD be used (in the phrases having a pronoun), I think a specific one--e.g., "bạn", if that's the most common one (and which, at least in this "Part 2" vid, does appear to be the spoken pronoun anyway)--should appear in the phrase instead of just putting "[pronoun]" there, which to me seems a little confusing.

1:48 Is it my Western ears or is last word pronounced differently when spoken at conversational speed?
@longdang1119
@longdang1119 6 лет назад
phapnui yeah, when speak fast, some words will be changed. In this case, nhé becomes nhớ.

I noticed that a lot of times in this 2-part video--one or more words in a phrase sounding different in the "fast" (normal) version than in the "slow" (first) version. Like the effect of the tones is minimalized at rapid speed, or the words aren't clearly enunciated (similar to people speaking English at normal speed), or something.

At 0:55 nói đến đâu rồi nhỉ, that is referring to a conversation, yes? not a location, Where were we in English can refer to a conversation or a location. is Chung ta đa ở đâu? correct for location?
