This is great. I have 6 pregnant females now and we're on track with everything I put a pinch of salt in their nursery to help them not stress now they're in labor. Now it's just a wait
Thank you so much! I started breeding guppies with my cousin about 2 weeks ago. But now i moved away and wanna start a "farm" of my own. This video will help me a ton! Thank you! +new sub :D
Hey I tried the breeding box and decided to let my girl swim freely with heavily planted (upper and lower) tank, Alone. You just have to keep an eye out for her going to the corner by herself. I took her out and kept her well fed till 24+ hours later and it was kind to her and easy for me. The box felt too constricted. Try it - it works. Your guppy will love you for it, stressless... and then you take the mother out and leave smaller tank for grow out for the babies
Hello thank you for sharing your thoughts. Great job for letting your female give birth without putting her inside the breedin net.. i do it most of the time too provided with a lot of plants.. happy fish keeping.
I bought a shower suction cup - it has small perforated slats/holes - and it’s been there for a month - I have a planted tank and plants. Duckweed/lilly leaves etc have grown and created a snug place - I figured when mama looked ready - this is my first time - I could put her in that? It’s only about 3 inches wide and tall, and 6 inches long. Think this may work?
24 hours after birth? Or 24 hours at any one time? I have 2 pregnant guppies. I put them in a screened nursery box. I thought i could leave them there until after birth?
Hi im new to ur channel and subbed, jist want to know if I will separate the pregnant guppy also the upcoming fry in another tank/tub do I need to put oxygen/air pump 24/7?
I have a pregnant white Molly fish and have a similar breeding box like you have in the video. I am having difficulty feeding her pellets as they slide down right into the bottom part in few seconds of feeding her. Please advice
I have 3 pair of albino red guppies in a 1.5ft*1ft tub and 2 are pregnant. I don’t have a separate container to keep the female guppies as of now. So my question is,will some of those to be hatched fries live to grow as I know most will perish?
Its my first time having a fish and I just learned that the fishes that were given to me were guppies.. Thank you po, I learned a lot😊. Sir, I would like to ask the name of the plant that's on the tank po? Hehe most of em are preggy😭🥳 I'm excited yet nervous haha
Excellent advice Sir. 👏👏👏 Can you indicate when i should remove female from main tank that last delivered 23rd February? Also if i dont put back with male how many days i can check from last birthing before putting her in breeding cage? Thank you for sharing. 👍👍👍👍
My preggy guppy is in the community tank.. we just separate it with a net.. she stays down and died two days after.. what might be the problem? I have one pregnant guppy again in the community.. what shall i do?
So, i had guppies in my tank upstairs. One of our females was acting all weird and was doing those nest things. So i put her in a little breeding box. I left, came back. 1 baby guppy.. after dinner, a lot. The mother and her sister already died but the babies are in a tank away from the big fish
If you leave the fry in with the female and one male guppy will they eat them if there is plenty of hiding places or would it be better to keep the fry in the breeding box I have both options and a third tank if I need it I'd just have to purchase another heater for it ?? Thankyou
Ok I get it she is trying to nest but when ever I try to take a look or catch her she just jumps as high as she can. If I'm not doing anything just trying to get a close look she trys to jump. Why is that happening?
hi im newly subscriber i just want to know if i need to separate pregnant female guppy one by one? or if it's ok to put all female pregnant guppy in one tank?
