When Humf’s friends Wallace and Loon come round, they don’t play Humf’s game the way he wants them to. So Humf puts all his toys away and doesn’t want to play at all… until his friends make up a new way of playing Humf’s game that is much more fun to play with your friends.
Humf and Loon were playing dressing up. Loon wore her swimming ring and her mum even blew it up for her. They had lots of fun playing in the garden and in Loon’s room but needed Loon’s Mum’s help when Loon got stuck under the bed!
Humf’s Mum packs a picnic in Humf’s rucksack to take to the park. Humf proudly carries it, but it isn’t easy. He falls over on top of his rucksack and ends up sitting on it too, so by the time they have the picnic all the food looks very strange and Humf’s not sure if he wants to eat it or not.
Humf is a furry thing. He is short and round and purple and cuddly. At three years old Humf is full of wonder at the world, and is always eager to explore the new things he sees around him. Humf knows what the questions are, even if the answers take a little longer to find.
