Humf and Loon go to Wallace’s flat to play, but Wallace is over excited. When they play cars he crashes them and when they build blocks he knocks them down. Wallace’s Dad tries to help Wallace find a quiet game to play, but Wallace is not very good at being quiet… until he falls asleep.
Humf wakes up so early that his Mum and Dad are still asleep. Humf doesn’t mind. He climbs into bed with them. And then he gets up to get his cuddly toys and a book to read. But when his Mum and Dad’s alarm goes off and they finally get up, they all seem surprisingly sleepy.
Humf has a new red airplane and it is his favourite toy. Wallace comes to play and he likes Humf’s new airplane too. But when he goes home, Humf can’t find it anywhere. So Humf’s Dad takes him up to ask Wallace where it could be and Humf is surprised to find him playing with it there!
Humf is a furry thing. He is short and round and purple and cuddly. At three years old Humf is full of wonder at the world, and is always eager to explore the new things he sees around him. Humf knows what the questions are, even if the answers take a little longer to find.
