Irish viewer here, had my Irish driving test today and passed! I’m gonna be part of the passed and still watch crowd. It’s similar to the uk one except we do reverse around the corner instead of parallel parking. Here’s to the learners still trying, if I’m an anxiety bag of nerves who can pass so can you! :)

I start driving on August thr 5th, and these videos help me and also the ultimate driving course, also I've been doing the young driver thing since I was 12 and honestly I feel really comfortable driving

Well done. I had a two week holiday and then came back to learn in a new car with my instructor, I also have my own car that feels totally different. I do prefer the new car now , end of second lesson I got used to it.

I went from driving my instructors car a toyota aygo to practicing in my partners car mercades A35 for my test, I have to say i preferred my instructors car but done my test in my partners and passed it does take time to get used to it though.

Can't wait to get my new car next month.

I have experienced this with my other half saying she prefers my old car 2023 skoda kamiq (manual) over my new 2024 Seat Ateca (auto) but saying that there are bits with my new car which she prefers, like the auto release hand brake and the fact the car starts the engine again (stop/start) when the car in front moves off.

Heated seats and steering wheel are great.😏😏😆

I bought the ultimate driving course back in 2021, i never used it (I have email confirmation of purchase) but now when I login I only have access to a few lessons not all of them:( how do I get the rest?

Why did pin get a new car?

i got gen 1 i20 its been very reliable and parts affordable and dose have gear number on the speedometer telling me what gear but even that i ignore often as more gas less pain on my knees as better angle so car always telling me off , next car i might get import kei 4 seat van or 2015-16 shape i20 think what you had last. no way id buy the new one as no key to start and no real handbrake and the 2015 shape has real spare tyre not a fix kit what useless. 2015 the limit tech i want in a car its almost too much like tyre pressure that just another pain to deal with what not necessary and other functions i will turn off like lane assist and think stop and start. handbrake auto releasing is a crazy idea the only way it should release is by your self going it or cable snapping just another thing to go wrong and car end up rolling down the hill when parked you do see vids that. it maybe a nice car but too much tech / help / interference for me even 2015 shape might drive me mad but it only small car i have interest in so its that or kei van whats over 20 years old and top speed of 74 mph but mad sounding engine and over half way to classic so over half way for tax free and mot free and clean air fraud zones free unless i can import one slightly newer but up to 6 months wait . next car i plan to keep for a very long time hopefully in to classic age so its taken me a long time to find the right one. its a nice car you got but far to much electric help/tech for me.

I am so confused.. is it a car feature or ??? at the start of the video when she was feeling the biting point i so she put the handbrake on and than don't you like have to press that thing again to turn it off ? what am i missing
