Learner Thinks She Has Passed But Fails Driving Test 

I had been learning to drive for 3 years with no hope that I would succeed, after failing twice. I have autism and struggle with learning, but by watching your videos and buying the UDC I passed 6 months ago with 2 minors! Thank you so much 😄

Thank God I’ve passed almost two years ago now. I couldn’t imagine the stress of learning and having to put all that experience on hold for months and then having to start all over again.

It’s so weird watching these when your from the US because everything is backwards 😂😂 and we only have to do 3 lessons that are like a hour long each before we take our driving test

Taz does well and has improved drastically over the lessons. Failing should only be seen as a sign you can improve more. I am still learning myself and Taz are actually both at the same stage (test). Hopefully we can both pass once the current coronavirus situation has improved.

Lol I passed theory test first time twice but as soon as I get in the car with the examiner I don't know why I get a huge panic attack.

I miss that feeling when I was having my lessons and preparing for my test, watching those videos every-time 😭🤣

Passed my driving test on the 9th March super lucky! Considering they stopped tests near enough after this!!! When she does pass it’ll be the best feeling ever 👌🏽. I had the most amazing instructor ever but watching your videos and using your driving course really helped me!

My driving test was cancelled the day before I was taking it due to the coronavirus! Feel for you taz hopefully be able to do it soon

This is how I failed my first test. 1 serious fault for staying in the right lane after coming off a roundabout... it was a shame as I only had 2 minors and everything else went really well.

18:20 - Serious fault was unfair there. Had Taz turned right (as she was going to before you stopped her), that would've been the perfect place to change into the right-hand lane. Assuming the examiner wasn't overly strict, they would either have corrected the direction and not issued the fault, or let them go the wrong way whilst still not issuing the fault.

Feel so bad for all of these students, recently passed my test and I remember the fear of messing up lol

That serious fault on 18 minutes is can kind understand it being early but I don’t see it personally as something that’s wrong or dangerous.. I thought she did well and will pass no doubt as rest of driving was A1 👍👍

Good driver, she just needs a bit more self confidence. It looks like she doubts her decisions at times. She makes the right choices but the lack of confidence in her own ability shows itself and makes her look unsure on the road. Be more sure of yourself Taz!

12:11 me: 'oh.. the hill of hell 😈😂😂' 18:16 i have seen on other driving schools' youtube channels, some learners get the same exact serious fault, when the sat nav tells them to 'keep right' they just move over to the right lane at any point. Quite confusing instructions 😬 However, all Tazs serious faults through the videos are mostly circumstantial, its not like she does them deliberately because she's at low standard of driving. Im hoping she will pass first time 😊🚘🤞

I have passed my practical driving test on 1st attempt. These video did help me to understand how it should be done and how to pass but I have been achieving my goal to pass my test and which I have done at the end. 😁

She failed for being in the right lane too early??? Yikes. We do not have this rule in Canada UNLESS you're on a high speed or provincial highway. If you are, there will be signs reminding you to allow faster traffic to pass you ("Keep right except to pass" signs). To me, it does not make sense to force traffic to be in the left lane in cities / towns when they know they are about to turn right anyway. It seems like it would create extra, unnecessary lane changes and doesn't allow full utilization of the road. On highspeed highways, this rule makes sense; not all vehicles are able to make the speed limit so they should stay in the low speed lane.

I am very nervous when driving, even if I did so well in the theory test! Well done to Taz she did so well

In Ontario you have to check every intersection and side road when approaching and every time you signal you have to twist and check your blind spot in the direction you are turning. She isn’t doing that and it makes me worried LOL

Just one fault is brilliant for 2 out of 3 mock tests. My instructor was a little harsh too on one serious fault too before my test last year. I would just say Pin, if normal driving position is a fail it's surprising how I passed for something similar ' I was on 70mph duel carriageway, a slip road with loads of cars appeared so I went to right lane to allow them on. However, I was only about 60mph and the cars took like ages to get on. I was in right lane for about 7 seconds but moved back. Even during the feedback I asked and examiner said no problem or fault'. Let me know what you think in comments please. As always good job Taz and so sad test was cancelled.

Why is is a fault if she follows the sat navs instructions and goes to the right lane safely, why is it a fault if she goes on the right lane too early when the sat nav says keep To the right

She could’ve turned wether she likes it or not you shouldn’t count that because she can switch lanes if it’s safe and also she doesn’t have to switch lanes when she gets where she needs to turn right sooo

I am so glad I am in the U.S, I dont have to deal with those manual cars. Am scared as hell while driving automatic, cant imagine how hard it is with those super difficult manuals!!!

How about her speed? My instructor told me to drive 25~30 in 30 zone, 35~40 in 40 zone, 40~50 in 50 zone . Examiners could fail you for driving too slowly.

Am I the only one who feels a type of way for the way she stops at red lights? Like why not go to neutral and brake but keep the clutch pushed in that just causes it to wear out faster and it’s unnecessary.

I'm not judging, but do the instructors in the UK not teach overhand steering? Seeing her do those tiny 2 cm readjustments whenever she makes a turn just looks weird.

I don't know why but the way she turns the steering when annoys me so much.

Hilarious ... when instructions say keep right what are you otherwise supposed to do? Unless you're familiar with the route, it is highly unlikely that you would not change lanes when the instructions are heard... so weird!

Honestly... her seat is too close to the car steering, that's why she cannot turn it to the left or right property! If she had to avoid an accident with a car l don't think she would manage it as she would take ages to turn the car.
