What's so refreshing is that you don't go neutral with colours. I'm so tired of the gray, beige, and white. I think the copper gives it so much personality.
Mercy!!! Glad someone else said this. I’ve always disliked the gray. I’ve never understood it. Think about would you rather have blue skies or gray skies? Just never understood the gray craze from the start of it. Old asphalt is gray….😅
Take it from a 74-yr old woman who pretty much maintains her own home: you’d be surprised about what you can do if you just give it a whirl! You are lucky to be a member of a family who will surely help and advise you if you get stuck.
Sadie you did a fantastic job! Yannis is a great teacher. From one independent crafty DIY woman to another just give it a try and you will be surprised how great it comes out! As my Nana would say you just need to hold your ears straight when learning! You so got this Girl!
Well done Sadie, you did a great job on those beautiful tiles! I was a bit nervous when Billy was cutting them, that he would take a finger off!!!! 😊🇦🇺
You got this Sadie! I was a single mother of 3 and I completely flipped a hundred+ year old home for myself and children. I have complete confidence in you.
I just love the copper tiles, Sadie. They look really smart in the kitchen and it's going to look so amazing after you get it all grouted and tidied up. A big thank you to your brother, Billy, for cutting those tiles, and to Yanis, as well. I just love how you all pull together and help each other. 👏👍💪😘💖💗💕
Sadie, doing it herself!! With the love and support of family and Yanis. Get some done every day, and it will be done before you know it❤❤❤ PS. I think Yanis is family too.
I'm really impressed with your tiling, its the move from not thinking you can do something to actually doing, and realising you can do somehting new. Well done you.
I love that you're taking the apartment on yourself. I've wondered when you'd get back to it. I'll be watching every episode. A channel with a woman doing renovation seems like a unique thing. Hoping your channel grows quickly!
I wouldn't have known that's your first time you've tiled. You did a great job! Yanis is such a hard worker. I got nervous when Billy was cutting the tile !!😮
Enjoying seeing you back every day Sadie. The tiles look gorgeous. Great to see Yanis helping you,he works so hard and has learnt so much since he has been with you all. Keep up the good work Sadie xx
I love your copper tiles. I am enjoying watching you making progress in finishing renovating your apartment. I hope we get to see the horses soon along with Bertie, & Tommy. ❤
Good on you Sadie , I'm 68 and just finished my Mobile home , the satifaction when you are finished is all worth it.Chin up and hello from Penticton B.C Canada .Sending a big hug to you .
Well done Sadie. Tiling isn't an easy job and you certainly made it difficult for your first time with the tiles you choose. You never know what you can do until you have done it. Onwards and upwards young lady. Soon with the help from family and friends 😂you will have a place to call home and be proud of.
Good for you! As a 75-yr old widow, I am learning new skills when it comes to maintaining my country property. So what you are learning to do now will give you skills for the rest of your life. As an aside, your brothers have given me insight when it comes to old properties and old methods of construction.
Sadie so loving 🥰 your every day video of the renovation of your apartment I have total confidence in your abilities it’s going to be a Beautiful space to live in
Well done, Sadie! I've always thought the lighting in your apartment is lovely and the vibe is so calm and inviting. Love the backdrop tiles - I would never thought copper-bronze finish could look so strikingly pretty, but you proved me wrong. Great eye and such a lovely space coming together amazingly well. Good job! You look lovely, by the way! Stay well! XO
Hi Sadie, those tiles are beautiful...you did a great job! Nice you had a bit of help from Yanis. Thank you for sharing, take care. Lots of love Kathy x 💖
Well done Sadie you’ve done a great job. The copper tiles are amazing. It’s so nice to see Yannis learning all these great skills. He will be a great help to you. He has learnt well from all the craftsmen Billy has used. The apartment will look great with all the gorgeous colours you have chosen. Keep going by the time you are finished you’ll be able to help Michael in the kitchen. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Struggled to watch this 😱! Fingers! The tiles are gorgeous Sadie, as someone who can't train , ride horses or who's never tiled I think youre doing great.
Good on you Sadie. You can do anything you put your mind to. I’m renovating my home and none of its hard, it’s just new skills. You can tile and plaster and paint and do whatever you want to create just the space you want
Sadie….You Go Girl! You’ve done a fabulous job on the tiling. Can’t wait to see it after you get all the finishing touches applied. And as always, Yanis jumping in to assist wherever needed. 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼 Team Sadie & Yanis …. Crack On!
Great job Sadie. Tile adhesive is tricky on the vertical. It's hard to keep pressure on the scraper. Less like icing a cake more like running a fork across mashed potato on the shepherds pie. You have to lean into it. Wastes less adhesive and less clean up. Good first time attempt. 👏🏻
You did great! The tiles are very striking in that space; they add a bit of reflected light to what could have been a dark cubby hole. Well done, you (and Yannis).
It's really great to see you back! A good tip from a once a first time tiler myself: Cover that counter, sink, faucet and part of the floor around the wall with plastic and tape it shut before you start grouting. No matter how neat you are, if it's the first time, it's going to get messy.
Sadie est une artiste, quelques fois dans la vie, des tristesses, des changements de cap, nous permettent de se redécouvrir et trouver de nouveaux chemins tellement plus heureux et sereins. Tu es merveilleuse de courage ! Tous mes encouragements. Nathalie❤
You go Sadie!!!! Only way to learn is jump in and give it your best effort😅I know you’ll succeed because you come from a very talented and determined family after all ❤😊❤I’m very happy to see you back filming! We have all missed you!
You’ve got this Sadie. Single mother here and if I don’t know how to do something, I watch RU-vid videos and form a plan that works for me. For tiling just use regular trowel and spread then at the end use tooth trowel to make the grooves. It’s much easier that way. Love the copper tiles. I want to do a copper penny tile in my bathroom ?
Sadie- love your backsplash in your kitchen. It makes it look bigger. :D I am so glad that Yannis is teaching you and helping you with your apartment. :D
