The horses are getting along so well. I laughed when you said it's good that the mama horse stays with the baby until she's weaned because they get their manners from their mums. I could just picture your mom Sherrie saying "Yes, you kids got all your manners from me!" 🤣🤣
The filming is great, Sadie horses large and small are a delight and she works so hard . I hope shes proud of what she's archived. Although please put a (play all )on your options for viewing videos. I like to rewatch when ironing. Merry Christmas Cxxx
You are such a wonderful caretaker of these horses. Elsa looks a million dollars since you’ve had her. I hope you can get the fence sorted so the little ones can be out in the field especially if you have a nice weather day. Great work Sadie!
I am 70 years old. Growing up, my Grandfather had 24 stable horse boarding barn and acreage, Your channel brings back so many wonderful memories, Thanks for posting!
I think the shorter version but with 2 L's for uniqueness and still the 'h' at the end. 'Llulah' I can hear Sadie calling it out now with her lovely voice.
I enjoy seeing the animals interact with each other. The dog playing with the baby, and how the other horses were so intetested as to what is in the new stable.
Sadie I am so glad that you are doing well!!!!! The way you treat all your animals so humanely is a big comfort for my heart!!! All the Pethericks and The Moons are so beautiful with their animals!!! We need more of this. All of you are very loved by your audience!!!! Best.
Lulu? Lula? Lou? Tooie? Toots? The choices are almost limitless. Whatever you name her, she's just as cute as can be. You do a great job! I'm sure the horses would agree.😁
Toolie might also work as a nickname. I had a pony as a child, named Star, but I should have named her Loki. She was such a trickster! There wasn’t an enclosure that could keep her inside! She loved leading us on merry chases. I once caught up with her three miles from our farm. Soon after that, we got a collie and her escapes didn’t get her very far! The dog would herd her to the open part of the barn and sit watching her until we could take charge of the naughty pony. Maybe you need a collie!
Elsa looks in great shape. I didn’t recognize her. I did a double take. Wow she really trimmed down😮 and looks so much younger and more energetic. You’ve done a great job with her. it’s nice to watch the young ones transition coming along. It was so cute to see Tallulah bucking her legs up in the air.😂
This is the first time you have been captured showing how much you love and enjoy your horses. I didn’t get it before, but I do now. Great camera shots of Sadie, horses, dogs and family!!!! ❤ Music was lovely !!!
Lovely video, excellent filming! I can see that the horses and ponies are happy and comfortable under Sadie’s loving care. She really labour with love for these beautiful pets. 😊
Great to see you show just how much ' faffing' around there is with horses. The time pressure is the only reason I was forced to give up keeping a horse. They really do need a lot of time to care for them - and you're not riding yet! You are so lucky to have them so close.
Love seeing all the new adventures you are having ! All the horses are so well cared for and the new little Talullah is so cute! Know you will get the fencing sorted out and that will make things easier ! Thanks Sadie!
Lula was my grandmother’s name! Thanks for the shot of Michael’s cottage and the greenhouse. It’s nice to see the progress. The cobblestone path looks great. It’s probably easy to forget how far you’ve come!
Sadie your an amazing women and an angel to all animals thank you for your kind heart ❤. Filming is excellent as is the music running through your videos. Love it all and I want to jump through and give that little horse a big cuddle so darn cute. Thank you for sharing as always! xB
So adorable watching the baby run and jump in the field Sadie! You must be thrilled How about LULU for her name? She kinda suits it. 😍 Love ❤️ her already!
I've missed seeing Bertie. Thank you. I'm s horse owner too and love seeing all the horses, the Jacks, you and Mo but Bertie holds a special place in my heart. I know he's Michael's but Mo seems to have a connection with him. Thx Sophie for bringing us so much fun.
I know you've already named the new black baby; but, I was going to suggest "Tottsie" or "Endra" or Nia/Niah = NIGHT. The baby is really very sweet and already likes petting and love from humans, I see. She will be a lovely pet!
Could you source some more wood from the convent and put rails across about ten inches apart? You don't have to worry about electric fencing battery running low and them getting out and you won't have the cost of garden mesh. I have a shetland and when I'am not about I don't have to worry, absolutely no way she can get out!
Ok here is my confession. I’m a 64 year old gran in Texas and my bucket list has one thing. To kiss some horses before I leave this earth. Of course brushing, cleaning hoofs and feed feeding them would be nice also. Thank you for this lovely video. ❤️ hope you all have a lovely Christmas.
Love loulou for shortened name! Thanks for explaining the horse relationship! I love watching and enjoy learning more about horses and their care! What happened with the apartment by the Convent? Is it finished? I might have missed a few episodes thanks to RU-vid unsubscribing me 😡
Before you mentioned fencing I knew you'd have a problem. 😅 As the owner of a Shetland pony I've learnt a lot about fencing in the last 7 years. For your stable door I suggest making a hatch they can look out of. If you reduce the height of the door they will just go over it. My Shetland went over a three foot sheep hurdle stable door. In the end we fitted a narrow 4ft field gate. He could look out but not escape.
Love the quality of all of the Petherick vlogs! Sadie, you are a wonderful caregiver to your animals. They are lucky to be living their best lives at the chateau
Watching your vlogs reminds me of the horses we used to have. A Clydesdale and a Belgian sport horse (Belgian x Arabian). Such good memories and love watching you make memories also!
Hi Sadie! I think Tallulah is an awesome name! I can’t help but think of Tori Amos lol! Such a great song! I grew up with horses and also showed and horses are not in my life right now, and I miss it so much!
This is, by far, your best video!! Perfect selection of music and excellent camera shots. I loved the views from inside the stalls, showing the courtyard and the front of your parents' cottage. We also got a glimpse of the greenhouse. I love that your parent's are always there to help.
My husband is related to the famous American actress Tallulah Bankhead, who was named for her Grandmother, who was in turn named for the geographic landmark Tallujah Gorge in my home state of Georgia in the USA. My husbands mother was named a shortened version of the name Tallulah…her name was “Lula”, which is quite a nice name. Lula was always very fond of horses. She loved movies about horses and so each Christmas we gave her a new wall calendar with beautiful horse photos.Your new pony is adorable!
Shelties are great hearding dogs & smaller than Collies. They are clean dogs & just need proper hair care. They will love & protect those horses & know how to respect their space. We use to breed them. Great Video today love ❤️ those horses!! 🎉😉
