Sister, I was born in Muslim family, very simple believing and practicing Muslim family. Sadly, I grew up into an atheist, i believed that faith is something I inherently lacked, I was radical rationalist, absolutist and empiricist and i was in a rebellious stage. But i was sincere, and i said to myself if I come across convincing evidence then I will not hold back. At the age 30, when i set out disprove Islam ( I knew if can disprove Islam, that by default would rule out all religion because i knew even when i was an atheist, if any religion is true, its Islam), i found something I believed I would never ever have in my life, faith. Allah-u-Akbar!!!
I will convert if u have an good answer for these things in Islam. How do u justify Allah permitting husband to beat wife? How do u justify your prophet sleeping with 9 year old child? How do u justify Allah allowing men to keep sl*ves and permitting sl*very till judgement day? How do u consider a sl*ve owner as best role model (Muhammad)?

Girl I cried after the video ended. I'm in that "educational phase" that you talked about, but for some reason I find it so hard to share my research with my husband. He's wonderful and open-minded, so I don't know why I'm worried! Both of us grew up Christian, and then went atheist after years of boring church and family members who didn't prioritize religion, so he's grown up to be a very evidence-based person, so I'm afraid of looking like an idiot for not being able to answer questions he has. I felt Islam once in my heart as a child after being invited to Iftar with my Muslim neighbors; I even remember writing in my journal that I wish I had people I could talk to to help me convert, and I was only 12! If any of you sisters have advice for me it would be greatly appreciated. I don't know where to start!
I'm not a sister but a brother so I hope you won't mind me giving you advices, and I'm not a good English speaker as well... I just want to give you some advices anyway! 1st: Write down your question that you have. All of it. The thing that you think you might not be able to answer your husband... Write that down. 2nd: Find answers (must be from Muslim sources). not the internet, not some random guy here and there.... you can go in to the mosque near you and ask your question that you have written down. ( and maybe ask for some free Quran?) 3rd: Find more answers (from the Quran and Hadith) I recommend you read it by your own. take your time to try to understand what god is trying to tell you through the Quran, and how you should act in certain situations through the Hadiths. (You will never finish this phase EVER! but if god wills... you will understand enough to the point where there is nothing else to do but to accept the true message from god) 4th: Accept Islam. some might go against you on this phase..... but do not be afraid..... God is with you. Accept that Allah is one true god and nothing is worthy of worship but him, And that Muhammad is his messenger..... and there you go! these are just some advices I can give to you, do with it what you will sister! I hope god guide you to become a Muslim one day. keep searching for the truth and God bless!

I hope people who are born Muslim never take it for granted, as it's been difficult for me in a primarily white and Catholic area where I'm worried about being ostracized. I'll absolutely go talk to an Imam or Sheikh at my local mosque. That sounds like an amazing idea! I already listen to Islamic lectures online, but I can't ask those people questions like I could with people in my community. I hope my heart opens itself completely for Allah, just as I feel it will. Hopefully I'll be able to update this soon if/when I take my shahada!
And I love Jesus, even as a present-day agnostic ❤ I believe he was a prophet who preached love and tolerance in times when that was not the norm, and made a significant impact on those who interacted with him. I don't believe in the Holy Trinity because it feels too much like polytheism to me, as a prophet cannot be God. He is himself in all contexts. In Mark 10 17-22 it states: "As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.’[a]” 20 “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.” 21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”" He only calls himself a teacher, and distinguishes himself from God in that way by never correcting the man. This man is literally asking for salvation, and it would have been easy for Jesus to tell the man that he must believe that Jesus will die for his sins in the future. But he did not, he claimed the title teacher and again, distinguished himself apart from God. Some parts of Christianity just don't make sense to me. It would all be easier for me in my personal life if I could believe in Christianity but Islam feels like the truth. I've never been called to something like this.

Thank you for answering the question. Once during work, while working in a team with a girl wearing a hijab; she somehow got a cut on her finger and asked me to help put a bandage on it. While putting it on she started blushing and then I noticed her beauty. All the while I was just treating her as an equal co-worker and not an item. The hijab is frankly a miracle.

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledg- ed allegiance to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man) - Sahih Muslim, 10:3901 How can a godly prophet participate in trade of human beings (even exchanged 2 black slaved for the price of 1 white Arab slave.) Certainly your prophet failed all characteristics of a biblical true prophet. Can you give me even one prophet during the time of Moses upto the times of Jesus Almighty who bought or sold a slave.

2 verses give Christians evidence that show Christianity is 100%true with any doubt. 1. (John 14:12 Jesus said "Truly truly I say to you whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father. 2.Mark 16:17-18 Jesus says And these signs shall follow them that believe IN MY NAME shall cast out devils, they shall speak in tongues, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed (all in the Name of Jesus but never in the name of Mohammed not Allah not jibril and surely not Al mahdi) If you go online you will see daily testimonies of millions of miracles from Alaska to Australia done only in the Holy Name of Jesus. These two verses coming from the supposedly corrupted Bible is the proof that Jesus is alive and with the church. My question is why would Jesus words stand with the ''corrupted Bible'' and not work from the ''uncorrupted Quran''. Or Muslims just say the bible is corrupted becoz if the bible is true, then the Quran is false so they don't have any option. Even on the statement from Quran that says bible was corrupted by some Jews and Christians (not all) which means some kept their original books. and whoever corrupted wrote their new books (not new bibles)based on their wrong misinterpretations. And you Muslims like saying that Jesus only came for Jews and no one else and that Mohammed was the last prophet for the globe. Then (Mathew 28:19-20) burries this claim because Jesus commanded ( Therefore go and make DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, (including Citizens of the Kaaba) baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely i am with you always to the very end of the age. Quick question; do muslims perform baptism which was commanded by Jesus himself if Jesus was a muslim. And pliz note that Muslim claim Jesus was Muslim but fail to name any of his disciples who said they were was muslims. We don't even have assumptions about what religion his disciples followed. Jesus came for the whole of humanity till the end of time, which automatically cancels out Mohammed and Islam and that your prophet was an antichrist of the many antichrists to come. Just a quick one: Last but not least Can you tell me why the heck the MESSENGER OF ALLAH kept slaves, bought and sold slaves in slave market of Saudia. The Quran even states that the prophet exchanged 2black slaves on the price of 1arab slave. Why did he do this if you claim he is an example to mankind (the best of mankind and even to add to an insult better than Jesus who never kept slaves.

All this kind of extra-Quranic books were CONCOCTED by Sunni and Shia sects at that time when Prophet was dead; 4 Caliphs were dead, and even all Companions of Prophet were also dead; and there was no one alive in order to authenticate those stories which are given in books of Sunnah and Hadiths. *Most of stories given these books not just run counter to Quranic laws and ethical codes but also ton of stories given in these books insult great man 68:4 Mohammad, and discredit Quran repeatedly.* _Please note that Quran not just forbids sects but also tells that Sect Followers will be punished in next life 3:103, 3:105, 6:159, __23:52__..__23:54__ __30:31__-32, __42:13__. In Quran 22:78, God has named all true followers of all Prophets ONLY Muslim; not Sunni and Shia. So it is great to live as Muslim only._ Any rite, ritual or Islamic Law (Sharia law) which does not have roots in Glorious Quran is absolutely not part of Deen al-Islam. Does Quran ordain Muslim lady to wear Burqa, Niqab or even that head-cover which you have also worn? No. Not at all. Those laws which makes Burqa, Niqab or even that head-cover mandatory are sprouted from CONCOCTED stories of Sunnah and Hadiths. Quran ordains to obey Allah and Rasool, and meaning of OBEY ALLAH AND RASOOL is nothing else but to follow that Divine Book which Allah Azza wa Jal delivered to we people through his Rasool, and name of that Book is Quran only 6:19, 6:114, 10:15, 28:85, 25:30, 16:116. Burqa, Niqab or head-cover are mere optional culture which also exists among non-Muslims. Does Quran talk about any Five Pillars? No. This story also come from Concocted hadiths. *Word HIJAB is used in several verses of Noble Quran but in no any verse, word Hijab is used from the attire/dress of Woman. In Quran, Hijab is curtain. For example: assume there is a big party in which many Muslim Woman and men are coming for Dinner. Now, Women must have separate section, and men must have separate section, and between two sections, there must be curtain. Quran calls that Curtain, Hijab.* Quran, FIRST OF ALL, ordains men not to gaze women, and then ordains Women not to gaze men (unless man and woman are married). Point is about gazing; not lowering eyes down to earth. Quran also ordains lady to cover bosom/chest, and wear longer dress. So miniskirts are not permitted. *Quran tells in 2:177 that Rituals are not a good deed. Quranic Salat is not ritual. Five Rituals were imported from Zoroastrians in 8th Century by Sunni Clergy. In Quran, GOOD DEED is to be Muslim, follow Divine Law, and then, live as a Righteous Philanthropist >> 2:177* Valid Hajj rites are only those rites which are given in Quran. Extra-Quranic Hajj rites are not part of Islamic Hajj. Stick to Quran, and Quran will lead you to paradise Quran 17:9 *VERILY, this Qur'an shows the way to all that is most upright, and gives the believers who do good deeds the glad tiding that theirs will be a great reward;* (Asad)

Have those who recorded this wronged you?' He will say: 'No, O Lord!' He will say: Do you have an excuse?' He will say: 'No, O Lord!' So He will say: 'Rather you have a good deed with us, so you shall not be wronged today" Then He will bring out a card (Bitaqah); on it will be: "I testify to La Ilaha Illallah, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger" He will say: 'Bring your scales' He will say: 'O Lord! What good is this card next to these scrolls?' He will say: 'You shall not be wronged' He said: 'The scrolls will be put on a pan (of the scale), and the card on (the other) pan: the scrolls will be light, and the card will be heavy, nothing is heavier than the Name of Allah'" Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] as saying that a person committed sin beyond measure and when he was going to die, he left this will: (When I die), bum my dead body and then cast them (the ashes) to the wind and in the ocean By Allah, if my Lord takes hold of me, He would torment me as He has not tormented anyone else They did as he had asked them to do He (the Lord) said to the earth: Return what you have taken And he was thus restored to his (original form) He (Allah) said to him: What prompted you to do this? He said: My Lord, it was Thine fear or Thine awe, and Allah pardoned him because of this Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] as saying that a woman was thrown into Hell-Fire because of a cat whom she had tied and did not provide it with food nor did she set it free to eat vermin of the earth until it died emaciated Az-Zuhri said: (These two ahadith) show that a person should neither feel confident (of getting into Paradise) because of his deeds, nor should he lose (all hopes) of getting into Paradise It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] said: “Every Prophet had a prayer that was answered, and every Prophet offered this prayer in this world But I am saving my prayer so that I can intercede for my nation, and it reaches every one of them who dies not associating anything with Allah” 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah, [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] said, "He who desires to be rescued from the fire of Hell and to enter Jannah, should die in a state of complete belief in Allah and the Last Day, and should do unto others what he wishes to be done unto him" On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ) is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that He said: O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who finds good, praise Allah, and let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself. It was related by Muslim (also by at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah). Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Allah, the Exalted, has said: 'O son of Adam! I shall go on forgiving you so long as you pray to Me and aspire for My forgiveness whatever may be your sins. O son of Adam! I do not care even if your sins should pile up to the sky and should you beg pardon of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with an earthful of sins and meet Me, not associating anything with Me in worship, I will certainly grant you as much pardon as will fill the earth."' 'Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Guard yourselves against the Fire (of Hell) even if it be only with half a date-fruit (given in charity); and if you cannot afford even that, you should at least say a good word" 🌹🌹🌹🌹 Salvation is easy in some religion 😇❤👇 4:48 Indeed, Allāh does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. Indeed, we will be guided." 43:50 But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word. 43:51 And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, "O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see? 43:52 Or am I [not] better than this one [i.e., Moses] who is insignificant and hardly makes himself clear?1 43:53 Then why have there not been placed upon him bracelets of gold or come with him the angels in conjunction?" 43:54 So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allāh]. 43:55 And when they angered Us, We took retribution from them and drowned them all. 43:56 And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples. 43:57 And when the son of Mary was presented as an example,1 immediately your people laughed aloud. Footnote - 1 Of a creation of Allāh which is being worshipped along with Him. 43:58 And they said, "Are our gods better, or is he?"1 They did not present it [i.e., the comparison] except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute. Footnote - 1 Implying that they must all be the same. 43:59 He [i.e., Jesus] was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel. 43:60 And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another]1 on the earth. Asalamulakum sister! SubhanAllah for how much Allah (SWT) has guided you. I’ve been Muslim my whole life and I am also still learning and striving to being more pious. I often overthink things (shaytan), but the story of Ibrahim (AS) sacrificing his own son always gives me strength to move forward. When He (AS) submitted his will, Allah (SWT) blessed him with grace. I’ve noticed for myself the same to be true for everything I’ve submitted my will to. 2 verses give Christians evidence that show Christianity is 100%true with any doubt. 1. (John 14:12 Jesus said "Truly truly I say to you whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father. 2.Mark 16:17-18 Jesus says And these signs shall follow them that believe IN MY NAME shall cast out devils, they shall speak in tongues, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed (all in the Name of Jesus but never in the name of Mohammed not Allah not jibril and surely not Al mahdi) If you go online you will see daily testimonies of millions of miracles from Alaska to Australia done only in the Holy Name of Jesus. These two verses coming from the supposedly corrupted Bible is the proof that Jesus is alive and with the church. My question is why would Jesus words stand with the ''corrupted Bible'' and not work from the ''uncorrupted Quran''. Or Muslims just say the bible is corrupted becoz if the bible is true, then the Quran is false so they don't have any option. Even on the statement from Quran that says bible was corrupted by some Jews and Christians (not all) which means some kept their original books. and whoever corrupted wrote their new books (not new bibles)based on their wrong misinterpretations. And you Muslims like saying that Jesus only came for Jews and no one else and that Mohammed was the last prophet for the globe. Then (Mathew 28:19-20) burries this claim because Jesus commanded ( Therefore go and make DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, (including Citizens of the Kaaba) baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely i am with you always to the very end of the age. Quick question; do muslims perform baptism which was commanded by Jesus himself if Jesus was a muslim. And pliz note that Muslim claim Jesus was Muslim but fail to name any of his disciples who said they were was muslims. We don't even have assumptions about what religion his disciples followed. Jesus came for the whole of humanity till the end of time, which automatically cancels out Mohammed and Islam and that your prophet was an antichrist of the many antichrists to come. Just a quick one: Last but not least Can you tell me why the heck the MESSENGER OF ALLAH kept slaves, bought and sold slaves in slave market of Saudia. The Quran even states that the prophet exchanged 2black slaves on the price of 1arab slave. Why did he do this if you claim he is an example to mankind (the best of mankind and even to add to an insult better than Jesus who never kept slaves.

Also, don't forget we, the men of islam, own you. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient , and guard in the husband’s absence what Allâh orders them to guard. As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means. Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. t was narrated from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah had a female slave with whom he had intercourse, but 'Aishah and Hafsah would not leave him alone until he said that she was forbidden for him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you.' until the end of the Verse. أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَرَمِيٌّ - هُوَ لَقَبُهُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ لَهُ أَمَةٌ يَطَؤُهَا فَلَمْ تَزَلْ بِهِ عَائِشَةُ وَحَفْصَةُ حَتَّى حَرَّمَهَا عَلَى نَفْسِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ } إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ .
