I got the bardwell drone to, i got it like half done i gotta wait to get the camera and the googles. It's cool to see a first timer like me and the same route. I use liftoff also, and i ended up getting his controler

I would only recommend to introduce your drone to your dog slowly so he does not have any reaction to it. That way your dog will leave it alone and not show any interest in it, which is probably best for all. Good luck in fpv!

@@citytouchstudios1144 doing better than me so far! I have yet to get through 4 consecutive packs without a crash. Latest busted the plug right off my ESC. At least I know how to fix it!

So with ELRS if you have the drone on for more than about 60 seconds before you turn on your radio the the receiver will go into WiFi mode and it won't bind. Personally I use the binding phrase option and then make sure my radio is on before I plug in the drone, never had an issue with binding when set up this way. Glad you like the kit though! Great to see success for new pilots!

Ah that’s why I was having issues! I was turning the drone on first. Now I make sure the radio is on first and it’s been fine. Thanks for the reply.

I believe it is more like 30 secs before WiFi (fast flashing).

@@skyrotfpv you can change it when you flash or in the settings, but the default is 60 seconds as of ELRS v3. It was shorter in earlier versions though.

Dig the video 👍🏿 personally I wouldn’t buy anything with Josh or Steeles name on it. Overpriced and underwhelming. Hell, motors like steeles have been proven not to be better because they’re more expensive.

When you're brand new to the hobby and don't know where to start, it's hard to beat Joshua's kit, which includes a 14-part RU-vid video series to go with it. I'm sure some of the price goes into the production of that. Well worth it for me. So far, the quality has been excellent. I did bust the ESC from a big crash, but I'm sure that was pilot error. 😄
