This video is all about Spinning. The"spin" is a great technique in futnet and it is used to trick your opponent. When the other team is expecting you to "smash" the ball they will retreat and get into a defensive position. The "smasher" will look like they are about to "smash" the ball and then right at the last second they will "spin" the ball. You can use the sole of your show or the outside of the show to recreate backspin on the ball. The ultimate spin technique is when you put so much backspin on the ball that it bounces on the opponents side of the court firstly and then bounces back on your side of the court. If you achieve this you win the point....and it looks really cool too!
Futnet is a sport that originated in Czechoslovakia in the 1920's and since then has grown and grown into a very popular game. Over 10,000 people now play this sport in the Czech Republic and it is also growing all across the world with over 30 countries represented within the World Governing Body UNIF.

All you have to do is visit the link below and go to the contact page to set up a national team which will allow you to take part in the World Championships. The last World Championships took place in Brno, Czech Republic in 2016 where 8000 spectators watched 20 countries compete for glory.
