In my journal I drew a picture of a tree with roots. And God spoke to me and told me I was right there in the roots of the tree. This was about a month ago. I stood up at the end of the sermon and my bible fell on the ground and when I picked it up, there was a sticky note I wrote to myself that read " I am PLANTED not BURIED." An hour before I watched this sermon , I was praying and asking God to show me if I was doing everything right. I have literally been cut down to a stump in my life, but the way I have been depending on God to get me through has been overwhelming. This is affirmation!! And affirmation that doesn't lay in the hands of people or other things! THANK YOU JESUS!
Pastor furtick your creeping me out man. I've never set foot in an elevation church but every sermon is like ur talkin directly to me. It's been years since I've had sermons hit home like yours. Your preaching is not only resfreshing but definitely is filled with presence of god. I don't understand how u do it but you sum up my situation and life quite often. I am 26 and am going through the hardest year of my life. This year has sucked, if I’m to be blunt. I moved away from home to a job that is unstable, I am having some medical trouble, and I am lonely. As my medical woes continue, I have found myself just about hopeless. I grew up in church and have been turned away from God for quite sometime. I’d say since I was about 14. Today I am at my wall. I searched for a hopeful sermon, and this popped up. I think it’s time to give my life back to Christ. Thank you pastor Furtick. If anyone has read this far, please pray for me as I begin my new journey of hope.
i was rock bottom in an abusive relationship the father of my 2 kids abused me every day. i had no job sitting on the bathroom floor ready to end my life and most nights he attacked me i didnt know if i would live to see the next day but I knew at that moment i was meant for something more..I left with the clothes on mine and my kids back started over and never looked back. it was at rock bottom i found Hope. God gave me a 2nd chance at life and my kids...one day i will use my story my rock bottom to inspire others and help others

God is up to something in my life! After nearly 10 years of waiting for God to show me his will in Hopes that a relationship that either moves in God direction or allows me to let go and move on. I am 75 widow and he is 82 years old widower, I feel my Christian values are being tested. I feel we both care deeply about each other, but something is standing in the way of a commitment (finically, property, both families wanting us to protect our own personal interest) and if that it’s enough, God saying this isn’t going to work, I’m naive, need prayer and a loud a clear message! Because I can no longer project Hope in the future on my own! I need God more than ever! Your message Hope, is hitting home, I need prayer, Jesus I need you now!

I’m going through a difficult situation in graduate school. But I trust that God will see me through. He gave me this purpose to be an educator not only in the natural but in the spiritual. He doesn’t fall off from His throne. He’s able and completely capable. He is made perfect in my weakness. God I’m no longer trying to believe in You. I believe in You. For faith comes by hearing the word of God, He will make me new again. Sadness does not last always. He will make me greater than I was before. Thank you Lord. I love You with all my heart. I lost my 33 year old daughter in a car accident in 2018. Some days I can’t see or understand why this has happened to our family. At first I lost hope in everything. God convicted me one morning when I was driving to work that I needed to start listening to his word instead of a talk show. So I googled and find you. For the last three months I have listened to you every morning. Your messages from our Heavenly Father has touched me and given me strength when I am at my lowest and I can’t see any hope. I needed this today. Yesterday I found out my mom has stage 4 lung cancer and I immediately started asking why, I was asking God what we did that was so bad that we deserve this. My faith has come so far away over the last 10 years and I know God's there, I just need to plant my roots and help my mom plant her roots and we'll get through this because we're fighters.

All the disappointments i go through, are teaching me that nothing comes easy, i must struggle and learn it the hard way and still believe in my God. No matter the circumstances i pray God to keep my hope hard always.
Thank you ❤ this really touched me. Been going through a lot of hardships and disappointments. No longer with my abusive ex husband. I am suffering with depression anxiety and complex ptsd. Been having financial problems for over 5 1/2 years, can barely afford to pay my rent and barely have enough money to live on and support myself and my two fur babies. My family have basically turned their backs on me but I am hoping and praying for reconciliations. I self harmed in the past and have had suicidal thoughts in the past but my fur babies gave me the reason to live. They are my family. I deal with chronic stress daily. Sometimes having good days feeling at my best, but most of the times bad days and feeling at my worse. A lot of times i feel i am running out of hope but listening to your words really touched me. I cried, but the feeling came over me i can't do this on my own. I need God. Another feeling came over me that i can bounce back. I have done it before and i can do it again, especially with the help of God. I always pray to God for my situation to get better. I try staying strong positive and hopeful, but it's not always easy. I would easily think what did i do wrong and that i deserve to be punished. I will wait for my anchor and chute. Hopefully soon.. Thank you again and God Bless you. 💕🙏💕
This message hit home for me. Definitely had this same experience with my speaking opportunity just last week. I felt so inadequate when I spoke that I didn't feel prepared as I had hoped. I needed to hear this today. The last few days i've been struggling with depression and anxiety because of the things happening in my life. You have reminded me of how the Lord always came through for me in my struggles and although it was hard He came through for me every time. It was hard but i came out stronger. I will never loose my hope. I just needed reminding that through the hardships He is already helping me. He is hearing my cries.
I have been going thru some things that I cannot understand,evil dreams of places of pure destructiveness seeing these places I went thru some kind of epilipsy where I but my tongue, bled out on the floor and went back to bed as if nothing happened not until I got up with a terrible headache and I seen all the blood around and all the dried blood on my body I got real scared and ended up in the hospital for three days,my dreams were still there and messing with me ,to much destruction a place of Insanity ....The only way I could get some rest is only when I prayed and claimed the name of Jesus Christ, I asked for answers and in the morning pastor Steven whom I never heard of came up on my you tube and preaching learning hope the hard way and thank Jesus Christ for the answers and the pastor for putting the holy word out there cause I understand and I will be praying for more spiritual help. Brothers and sisters listen to pastor Steven what I have said I dreamt and seen is not a premonition but what evil does on an everyday basis destroy everything around you till it leads to your own destruction ,I raised my hand and give my life to my good Lord Jesus Christ my life here in Earth is difficult but the light will be shed thru Christ and I will receive my reward ....thank you Jesus Christ and for the wonderful gospel pastor steven

Watching this in 2020. Super excited for what my stump will bare🙏 I almost forgot that you have to go through hardship and struggle sometimes in order to understand hope. Hope is really maturing my patience and even though myself along with many others in the world have little to no hope, I understand that this is where patience is a virtue. We have to believe that no matter what job we lost, income that was shot, or people in our lives that are no longer there; God is truly making preparation for a new a revised version of you and your life.

Hope in Jesus is like a flame that won't go out. It can ignite many other little flames, some of which may grow larger. But it's important to remember which flame was the source, the one that doesn't go out.
