4 years later in 2022 and God is still speaking to me through this sermon… thank you pastor Steve for saying yes to Jesus and being a faithful servant to Him…Im just in awe of the deep message and the conviction i received from this. Last time I poured out my heart to God, I was in great despair. I told Him he "either didn't care or wasn't omnipotent". Immediately my phone rang, it was my old priest I hadn't seen or heard from in 3 years. His first words was "how is your relationship with God?" It wasn't Hi, or any greeting. Just straight up. Well, I gave him an earful. I hung up rejoicing, and my prayers were answered from a Priest I had thought forgotten about his lost sheep. God answers prayers and hears us. God was waiting for me to be honest about my thoughts, struggles and doubts. Be honest with God. He won't smite you.
I woke up today feeling like I hated myself. I feel alone a lot of times and no one to talk to. I think with everyone hiding their feelings in this world, if I try to tell my feelings I’m considered crazy. And the more I read the Bible the more I feel isolated in this world. Even at church with ppl I thought studied the word of God. God please help me. Thank you for this sermon. This is my second time listening to it. I needed this today. I feel like the devil had been on me since a kid and I keep trying to block him but I fall at times. And this morning was one. I’m happy I listened to this today. Thank you.
It's crazy how God can speak right to you in your EXACT situation EXACTLY when you were about to give up. It's CRAZY how he can lead me to click on this exact sermon right when I needed it the most. THANK YOU GOD, I LOVE YOU.

Trust God to lead you to a church and stay there. You need the Word of God and the fellowship of the brothers. Everyone there will not be perfect but then again neither are we...right? Be blessed.

"I will give you something to cry about".....when l am in despair and wondering how God is going to bring it to pass, l am reminded of my humble beginnings in the boondocks of Kenya, living in a mud hut, hens pecking my ears, fetching for water, and so many other things too much to list, l look around and see how far God has brought me thus far....immediately, l seal my lips and consider how far God has brought me. I give Him all the praise and glory. "Have l not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go...even in the cave in Gath.

I asked God to show me if I was doing the right thing by being set up in my stronghold and by being secluded in my home while I'm going through some things and then I found this. God has been consistently answering me and I am in awe of what a mighty God He is.
4 year's latter,and I needed this Word. I was crying, God why are you allowing this to happen? Then I turn on RU-vid and there is God using this Man of God to remind me. Bless the Lord,for His Mercy endures forever 🙏 ❤️ 🙌. There is hope. Satan is a LIAR,A LOSER! Jesus defeated Satan on the Precious road to Calvary where Jesus shed His Blood for all our short comings, our mess ups,are healing, deliverance from our selfs. I don't understand this season, but that Pslam 142 just touched my soul like nothing else could have.
Just when you think that there are no answers or places to go GOD turns up proving without a doubt that He is God and able to make a way, comforting and lighting the way forward, Oh GOD is so so so good. Thanks again Pastor.

Man I remember going through a perticular test or trial a few years back and I remember quoting those scriptures in Psalms when David was crying out. That was a tuff place for me at that time to be in and didn't understand why. I knew it was the enemy discouraging me but at the same time I know I can be my own worst enemy and I can't always rely on my own understanding. All I knew what to do as a believer was to trust God, or put my faith in Him. At least that's what I was taught to do when going through your storms of life. I never saw that struggle as being a stronghold in my life. I always thought a stronghold was something that someone struggles with in thier own mind. But I wish I couldve seen this video along time ago when I was going through my test or trial. It would've helped me alot. I haven't even watched the while video yet only 5 minutes in but I know it's gonna be a good one. In the book of Psalms it says "It was good for me that my soul was afflicted so that I may learn your statutes. We might go through some affliction's in life that we may not understand, it might not seem fair, but only the LORD knows why it happened. He might want us to learn & grow from it. You might even throw in the towel and give up and maybe even backslide. But that's okay cuz the Bible says that God is married to the backslider so we gotta just pick ourselves up again, and finish where we left off. Paul says for me to know Christ is Him crucified. I guess sometimes we just gotta take the crucified way. But I still wish that I would've known that I didn't have to stay in that stronghold back then because it messed me up in my personal walk with God. I thought I had to endure that in my own walk, but looking back now I think it was my time to rise up and to walk in the power & authority. I just didn't know how to deal with that situation at the time. Thank you Steven Furtick for being obedient and bringing out this message 🙌🙌🙌

Wow I remember hearing a word during my quiet time with the Lord a couple days ago, “your struggle is a setup”. So I typed it in RU-vid and found this video. It’s as if a God knew I needed to hear this, such a timely message!

Heart wasn't steady for the evening and I just knew I needed to hear a sermon. Elevation has truly been my escape as of late. Listening to the Word helps to calm my fears and relax my mind. God has everything in control. Sometimes we have to go back to the basis and pray out loud. I was on the fence of starting my Bible journal but I feel like it much needed. I need to make my way down to this church, It's right in my backyard.

We all know we have strongholds that we need to be free of, mainly because of that scripture 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, & we pray for this, but from a distant detached place of ignorance. It is so good to recognise the strongholds that we personally are subject to, so that we can accurately direct our prayers & fully be aware of the freedom when we walk free of them & Praise God for the deliverance.
I am so glad that God gets me, He understands me, and He knows me. David passed down his legacy of great rapper to his son, Solomon; look at Proverbs and Ecclesiates! By the way, thank you for your words of encouragement yesterday; I was crying and praying to God, He gave me Is 14: 1 & 2 and Is 12: 1-3. I am always telling God how I feel; someone once told me that God won't fix what you won't face. So I tell Him everything

That's true he knows all our thoughts. Lord Jesus is comforter too. He was fully God fully human too. Amen he wants our whole hearts. I didn't know to cry allowed.
Wow!!! I've had many issues with my health. 2013 brung me much pain! My health began too fail, I lost my job, my dad passed away! my mom had breast cancer, then cancer of the uterus, my 4th child developed Kawasaki disease before that. No income from 2013- 2019... I had too have a heavy conversation!!! Long story short... God said trust ME!!! Only Me!!! Crown of thorns... I believe was placed for my depression, anxiety, panic attacks.... I didn't think a child of God could have mental issues, but yes... God has shown up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will bless the Lord at ALL TIMES!!! I have and will NOT STOP!!! Continue doing and being what God has called you too be!
