My auntie passed away this week. She spoke our language very fluent. I'm gonna missed that so much. I only wish I paid attention. 😔

Gchi Miigwetch ..Nzaagtoon manda Video.. This is perfect...one of the best I've seen on RU-vid...the pronunciation is great. Chi miigwetch , Aapiji n'migwechiwendam KWii Chiiwaakanak !! I can follow along (with hearing it..and correcting myself, using the Shaganoshmowin kidwinan) , Minwendam

I stop each frame and write or type it out. I am very grateful that you and others are doing this. It takes lots of hearing/repeats to rewire our brains...no such thing as instant Ojibwemowin.

Very interesting language. It almost sounds like Tagalog and then it doesnt. Very cool!

If you go to the video settings, you can slow down (or speed up) the video- definitely helps!

Under settings, you can select playback speed to play it as slow as you'd like. :) Hope that's helpful.
