Just had a look back through my log book, November Charlie is in it. The Bulldog as introduced in 1971, and is a development of the Beagle Pup from slightly earlier.
I found out that that particular Vulcan was made in A.V.ROE factory near Gardeners arms pub at top of Victoria avenue east, in Blakley, Manchester 9... And COULD have been one that my mum worked on before taking it to Woodford for flying tests and engine checks.... WOW...how good is that...
It looks like you are paying for your instructor to have a free flight there!!! how much stick time did you get ?? you should be flying the aircraft and gaining stick time !! looked to me like you are missing out.
As you are probably aware, there are a number of techniques used by flying instructors. e.g. demonstration, demonstration with student follow through, student flying with instructor follow through, student flying with instructor advice, student flying with instructor observation - they are all valid and have there place.
