I CAN NOW DO IT CONSISTENTLY!! Few misconceptions: 1. Most people think the kip up is a motion powered by your triceps, or your arms in general. Instead, the momentum of a kip up is generated by using the legs, and the arms are just for stability and a little extra push. 2. Most people tend to get their legs up and down but then land on their back because they can’t bring their body back up. This is where you must propel your legs while bringing your body along with it, instead of two separate groups. 3. Your legs must shoot up first, then pull down in an arc for your body to be able to follow with it and go upwards. 4. USE UR ABS AND DONT GIVE UP !!! Do not give up. This took me a few days to land, and I learned a lot along the way. I recommend recording yourself attempting it, and even though it seems cringe, it will help because you will be able to see what ur doing wrong. YOU GOT DIS
2:20 I had to put it in 0.25x speed and pause it at the exact time. He said “Only a man who knows what it is like to be defeated can reach down to the bottom of his soul and come up with the extra ounce of power it takes to win when the match is even. Muhammad Ali”
Ive seen friends practice for hours for this. I learn martial arts. Although most of his kick ups arent really legit. Thr steps are there. Very good, Mike.
True story: i was trying to kip up for 2 days using different techniques, today was my third day and i couldn't make it, i wasn't even making progress. I got so frustrated that once again i changed the technique, i found your video (this one) where you just do it first try, that got me pissed so i forgot every technique and did it my way, 3 tries later i land it perfectly. Thanks man, you didn't make a tutorial, but this did more than 4 video tutorials.
When I started watching your channel, I thought you would be some famous RU-vid with 10 mill but I was shocked when i saw your subs Honestly bro you deserve more than 10 mill subs
For some reason, this guy's sense of humor clicks for me It just does, and I like it I mean, he literally knocks on the floor and says: I mean... This is... a floor 1:47
I tried this once, landed on my back...and blew the air out of my lungs I just stayed there, looking up at the ceiling wondering where my brain got the idea that I would be nice to try this on concrete...Haven't tried it since...
u know the funniest part? i was 100 sure i couldn't do that but after the 5th try i manage to do one with hands, i totally missed the newst 4 ones but once on a while i managed to land on feet. Then i got angry and i went back to the pc.
There's a wrestler called Orange Cassidy who wrestles with his hands in his pockets. He does drop kicks, suicide dives, etc and kip ups all without using his hands. It's amazing to watch. I tore the cartilage and ligaments of my knee jumping off a swing when I was 18, and that's about the time I stopped being able to do kip ups. 15 years later and I'm way too cautious to ever try again. But I love this video, and enjoyed your wee face when you succeeded. Such delight!
You have put the waterbottles on the wrong side. Because the middle part still could slide away. But it they are on the same side as your head it doesn't slide that much because you side against the Bottles weight which makes it much more effective. Greets from Germany
I’m definitely gonna try this, I watched his other video about the strick tricks and I learn the first one in a few minutes, with enough motivation you will be able to achieve it 😊
I did this on the 5th try, if you also want to, DO NOT IGNORE WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY, Don't make the mistake of not warming up, because as soon as your legs touch the ground and you want to get up, your hamstrings would be on fire, trust me, I feel like i've just done a V-Sit meanwhile I can't even do a proper L-Sit If you're one of the idiots who tried on the bed, just don't.. it won't work, do it on the floor, no pain=no gain While kicking, don't kick horizontally, kick vertically and as soon as you kick push your hands as hard as you can against the floor
for all those of you who are trying at home here are some tips from a person who had to master this for wushu -at the start, dont try to get up first you want to make sure that you are able to get into a bridge before you do it if not that you might risk injuring your back so go to starting position, kick up and use your hands to help you with getting into a bridge -when you are getting up,try hooking your legs as close to ur body as you can because it makes it easier to get up -try kicking at a 75 degree angle and try one to go over that because it may be harder to get up - if you still need help, ask someone to support our back and push u up so that u can get momentum.so just lay down with someone supporting ur back, kick up and let the person push u forward
I love how you get so excited when you accomplish something....your determination and keep trying is a inspiration....Keep Positive and Stay Safe.....I hope your Family is well in Itay...thoughts and prayers are with them...

@@johannes01 I learn some really hard karate kick you wanna see get your ass here I will show you. even with my third leg you know what we can do with our third leg ok take care of your ass have a good day 🤣💀
Keep trying. Make sure to stretch out your hands and arms, considering you are using the most strength from that area. Once you get the hang of it, the bridge is pretty easy, but it’s important you have decent back flexibility as well.
