On the 7.10.21, I was so sad and brokenhearted that I didnt pray before I went to bed. I just lay down in the bed crying and questioning God. The holy spirit woke me up after 3 am and this is the song I woke up singing before I went into prayer. I googled the words and this is where I end up. I'm so thankful for this reminder from God. God is so loving and caring thats why he said cast your cares upon him because he cares for you. God bless you all who is reading this comment and may your souls find peace with God.
I lost a son and know the feeling. The person I was closest to at the time didn't allow me to mourn and get through it. I was discouraged to talk. I had noone else. I keep the sadness in. I meet a lot of people because I am in a tourist area and they always ask questions. How many kids do you have? It's the worst even though its been 7 yrs. Can't even go on a date because they ask. I don't mind remembering. I guess if I ever do go on a date and a person is caring and compassionate they may be a keeper but most are not. That's not a good subject on a first date. I wish we can get out loved ones back. Learning to live having a special place in our heart for them but without them is hard.
10 years ago I was in 3rd stage cancer at 46yrs. old and 3 small children, this song became stuck in my head and I found myself constantly singing it. Praise the Lord, even tho the prognosis was very poor at the time, God saved my life and my testimony remains the same, lean on Jesus. I love you so much, Jesus.

Continue to remain faithful to the Sovereign God and His unchangeable word because there's no other way to survive in this sinful, maniac & unpredictable world that we're living in. Psalm 119:104. This song was sung at my son's baby dedication and the next day we took him to the hospital for surgery. That was 40 years ago. It still is a reminder of how much I still need to lean on Jesus more now than ever.
I thought that I forgot this great song. Right after I got saved in 1968 I began to hear this song. The Lord brought it back to my mind and I tried to find it on Utube and here it is. Thanks you so much it means much to me.

I claim your promise over Keren, your daughter whom you know has been unwell and in hospital for a year. Heal her oh great physician, restore her health our Father. We cast this care upon you, may her dear father find peace in you as he has chosen to lean on you. He stands still, knowing the battle is yours. Jesus came to the home of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. The story is a picture of learning to lean on Jesus. Lazarus is not mention in this story, Martha was in the kitchen busy, but Mary was learning to lean, she was at Jesus' feed listening to Jesus. This hymn captures that story in song. I woke up and immediately googled this song. I am 52 and grew up singing this in church but had totally forgotten about it. When I do listen to Christian music, it's the more modern songs, not the gospel music I grew up on. I'm going through some major health issues and depression, thoughts of ending it and I was woken up in the middle of the night with this song on my mind. I couldn't wait to look it up so I could listen. This has to be God. I haven't heard or thought of this song for over 40 years!
