Yes, He does. He pushes evil. This is for people that actively seeks a genuine relationship with God. God also have a lot of love, compassion, grace, slow to anger, etc. James 5:11, Hebrews 4:15

@@brianatashekaI know that I’m just saying being a Christian and God loving us doesn’t absolve us of punishment. David was a man after Gods own heart and God loved David and not only did He kill the baby, He inflicted a generational curse upon him. So many Christians push this narrative that God doesn’t punish (or maybe they just don’t understand) and that’s why so many people out here think they can sin without consequences. *also for context, I seek God diligently, daily, hours a day in the Word, giving to the poor, working in ministry full-time and I still receive punishment because: ”But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.“ ‭‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭48‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Because I’m a believer after God I even moreso know better and know what God is expecting of me. @@CantthinkofwhatshouldgohereI definitely agree with you, I think all of us forget that even tho God is loving, He also hates evil. But God has a lot more grace and patience’s for His children since His son came down to die on the cross. He knew we will mess up and still died. We must have a Sovereign fear because He is still God, of course but God still has a lot of patience for us, but of course He is a just God and we have to deal with our consequences as well!
