This is the first negative Sailrite feedback I’ve given. For a beginner, how to sew video it would be very helpful to slow down and actually show us how to wind a bobbin and thread the machine. Thankfully, I saw the other videos on how to set up my LSZ. Those 2 steps are so critical for new sewers and new machine users! This video was not the usual extreme high quality Sailrite how to video.
We are sorry you are not satisfied with this video. We intentionally didn't go into detail on how to wind a bobbin or thread the machine because we wanted this series to be helpful for all sewers and not just for people who have an Ultrafeed. So we decided to keep machine specific information more general and encourage people to reference their machine guidebook or manual but still cover the basic steps in which you should set the machine up. Our intention is to hopefully be able to help anyone looking for help with any sewing machine. But if you do have an Ultrafeed, the guidebook is full of helpful steps, pictures, and videos that go in depth through the machine.
Probably worth mentioning which way the thread should come off of the bobbin when installed. I can never remember so about half the time I end up guessing wrong and flipping the bobbin around.
Brava...Setting up the machine putting in the needle the correct way threading the spool thru machine, adjusting the tension threading thru arm and coordination with bobbin thread
Hi! Have a question about Ultrafeed LS and Fabricator machines? How do I use this stitch type that machine sews in straight stitches up to 6mm in length? Can you show about 1mm between 6mm on straight stitch on your RU-vid Sailrite Workbench and would like to learn more about 1mm between 6mm, how to use it? Thank you!
Hi, if you click on this link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-48hHjUBLx2U.htmlsi=b3RdcHJzcLw74sXW&t=389 It will take you to a section of one of our videos where we discuss stitch length and tension. If you look closely, the sample piece in the video has examples of 1mm through 8mm stitches on the bottom part of the leather piece. For context, that example piece was showing the distance of 5 stitches for each stitch length. if the link doesn't open properly, the time stamp for that section of the video is 6:29. I talked about how to adjust stitch length earlier in that video as well.
I am a male but I have interest in sewing machine! Thank much for a Step by Step tutorial! Do more tips after this and how to do creative sewing with clothes! Blessings to you! 🙏🔤🔤🙏
