Tee-shirts, towels, knit fabric need a wash-away topper on top. For Clothing no-show mesh cut-away is best. Denser designs on clothing always double up on your stabilizer. Knits/tee-shirts need a ballpoint embroidery needle. I find if you fold your shirt in half and iron it you will get the center of the shirt everytime. Change your needles every 4 hours, and the reason why your U&V look strange is because you don’t have a topper. Hoop it higher, usually 3 inches from collar is what I do depending on the sweater. The topper will keep your stitches from sinking down into the fabric. Don’t get discouraged, Keep trying and you will have great success !! If you need more help let me know. Monica

Also another quick question I know you said that Tee-shirts need the wash away topper on top but do sweatshirts need it as well since that’s why my U & V are coming out wonky? Should I plan to use the topper on all my Tee-Shirts and Sweatshirts?

Just remember Noah didn’t build the Ark over night, . I was always told don’t mess with the tension it comes set already. If you find someone on Etsy that you like , see if they can be your go to person to digitize everything for you. Learn to float as well a lot easier.

@SeasonsBestBR if you stabilize properly on the bottom, you don't need a topper for t-shirts nor sweatshirts. I have been embroidering for 10 years and have never used a topper on A tshirt. However there are more than one way to skin a cat and you have to find what works best for you and your machine. But I need you to know that 90% of embroidery problems are user error. I'm here for questions if you have any.

Omgosh yess lol 😆 the Poolin Machine tells you when you’ve hit your limit so I thought I was good but now I’ll just leave it alone moving forward and not increase the size!

Cut away for anything you wear, i think no show cut away mesh is for lightweight clothing where you dont want to risk seeing the cut away through the clothing. Tear away for anything else, like towels, tea towels, faux leather. also anything with a pile or text use a water soluble stabiliser on top its clear and looks like a film, it stops the stitched design from sinking into the pile of the fabric.

Hi Resa I am just watching most of the time if you resize the design it mess with the design and make it a little wonky and you will have space into the stitches so do not resize and yes most of the times the thinner part of the design is like that but you are doing great I am still watching I didn't finish washing so let me keep watching to the end lol

Hi, the skinny portions of the letters is the result of the type of font used. It looks really nice.

Did you use a font in your machine for the text with the bow? if not it could be many things, the thread, the stabiliser, the digitising its a bit of trial and error until you find what thread especially that your machine prefers, not all machines will stitch well with all threads and bobbin thread

no that one was a design that I purchased on Etsy, I was thinking that It could be anything but the stitching is only coming out bad on the U&Vs so that’s why I was wondering if it could be the file itself, since the rest of the design stitched out perfectly.
