Ross, this is hands-down the most useful information I've seen on using the Pod Go with an amp. The content is excellent. The playing is stellar, as others may have mentioned, the vocal audio was sub-optimal, but as it turns out, life is not always perfect. I've booked-marked this video and I'm sure I'll need to watch it a few times to catch onto your cleverness. Thanks for taking the time and effort to post this video, I do appreciate it.
From 00:20:05 .. I did'nt understand how to use the 'Amp Out' and the 4 CM at the same time...Its either / Or...

Hi everyone, I recently bought the Pod Go Wireless and I'm getting desperate as i'm unable to boost my signal for solos with an external amp head! I have an Orange Super Crush 100. I connect the pod via amp out to the amp input. Any Boost works fine on the clean channel (Amp, pre-amp, kinky, ES etc). HOWEVER, if i switch to the distortion channel of the Orange amp nothing seems to work. Nothing boosts the volume of the distortion, it's as if all those extra dbs sent from the Pod just create a more distorted and confusing sound, but no VOLUME increase! Can anyone help? Thank you so much
Thanks Liney and Ross for taking the time to discuss Pod Go connecting to an Amp, but i think this video is pretty messy and does not elaborate much on the cabling options, the Global Setting and the fiddling at tbe amp itself. Visuals would help, less words too 😉 It's unfortunate as it is a hairy topic for Pod Go owners. Please think to make videos for the least knowledgeable people. Otherwise it's water on sand.
I'm having real issues using the Pod Go Amp output into my 'real' amps return. It seems there is no way of adjusting the output level, which makes it unusable, as its going full volume into the amp. There is no way to turn the level down either from the Pod Go or on the amps FX return, so I am at a loss really. I hope Line 6 will address this in future firmware updates, and provide a level function on the Amp out!
Use the master volume knob of your amp model to control volume. Just like a real amp. I am a bassist and do it that way when I run amp out to my Fender Rumble 500c return.
