How exactly are your drivers averaging 8-9mpg hauling reefer and flatbed loads? Hauling an empty trailer over flat ground with no traffic and a tail wind and a perfectly spec truck and trailer with wind skirts, tire skirts and all that at 55mph you’ll be lucky to hit 9mpg.
For anyone that see this video if you get a chance go to decker it is one of the best companies I have ever worked for but unfortunately I moved out side of there area so had to give up my job
@@sweetness2689 well I am not that dang nasty to piss in a cup while drinking but to each there own I guess don't hit a hard bump or hard bake or hit anyone and you will be fine
Dude literally said no one has 66k saved after 3 yrs. Tells you everything you need to know. Your lease purchase program isn't built for success, it's built for decker to escape liability . Decker isn't looking for buisness people, they're looking for naive fools.
Where you work, do you have 66K saved up after 3 years? Saving money is 100% up to you and your cost of living. It has nothing to do with the company you work for.
If I am lease to Decker, being paid a percentage of the load, does decker provide me(the driver) the the actual rate confirmation signed by the company and the broker indicating the actual agreed upon rate, including accessorial pay, fuel surcharges, TONU etc? To put it another way, how do we know that we are getting the actual percentage agreed upon when signing the lease, and you’re not just like “you can trust me bro, I’m a trucking company”?
If you want your drivers to succeed you should pay percentage pay not a buck something a mile pay. You're lucky to take home $1300 a week while working your butt off. With your dedicated customers and not the load board you're averaging at least $3 a mile when the math is done and over with. Independent Owner Operators typically take-home around 4k a week after all expenses at least if you're actually working and not messing around.
It is not forced dispatch, and we do not use a load board. You will have an assigned fleet manager who will work with you on getting the best loads for you out of the areas. If you have specific areas you want to avoid, they will do their best to accommodate you..
High revenue loads? But you aren’t going to tell the driver the actual pay once you’ve taken your 28% which is ridiculous and you expect a driver to bring home 1500-2000 a week I bet. Crap companies pay drivers that 24/7. Just another fleece deal like them all! Then you have to go through an act of Congress to qualify for the silly program when you could make the same amount of money being home daily driving for someone else! None of this adds up to anything but a BIG BROKE HEADACHE
72% of a load you don't see a rate confirmation agreement on? Then a balloon payment at end of lease? I bet that $160,000 truck turns into over $200,000 easy! Hahaha!!! and on top of that you have to pay them $1500 to let them screw you! lol Whoever goes for this deserves what they get.
We allow a dog up to 80 lbs for a nonaggressive dog or up to 40lbs for 2 dogs. We do allow teams to do lease in our reefer division. The paymentand term is dfferent though.
We do in specific areas of FL for our Flatbed division.. What's your zip, I'll confirm. Also, we do require you run as a company driver for a minimum of 90 days first.
They go around when asking rate confirmation they won’t tell you what is offered they force you on certain routes. Just look at the lady in pink her expression tells it all. And I can tell they’re full of crap.
It's a good lease, I never understood why people think they're gonna make $3500 a week on lease it's basically 1200 to 2000 on a good lease before taxes... Your taxes should help out a lot. You've been driving 20 years good feedback from a lot of the drivers over there
You never understood why people want 3500 ????? And 1200 is good ???? Wtf... I make 2000 local.. why tf would I live on the road for 1200 a week .. stupid comment.. so now you know why people want 3500 to give up their life
This is an older video, our experienced drivers are now 3 day long orientation. Our students are still 1 week before going out with a trainer for 3 weeks.
Big piece of duck tape on camera facing driver. I rather have my civil liberties and freedom. A low grade prisoner has a bigger cell without video camera watching them, then a Decker truck driver in the cab of a truck. Find someone elses butt to look at safety.
