@@noncatholiccatholicrat6309not exactly. Strain is overtaxing or going over your limit. Tension happens when you don’t use a good approach to notes you would already normally be able to hit or don’t allow yourself to the proper breath to hit the notes. Ariana has moments of tension or vocal cracks but to say strain is a stretch. She nearly Never strains because she sticks with notes she knows she can hit until she is comfortably able to go higher
She is, but aaaall things that she does: incredibly difficult songs, crazy dancing, non stop crazy singing - she barely rests - like STOOOOP. So please guys, I’m a singer with high voice too, I know how damn tiring that is
singing is like gun shooting ʜᴇ ₕₑ ʰᵉ ᕼE😁 you have to train train and train, then go for it, no hesitation just go for it, the more skilled you are, the least mishaps you will have 😀👍🏾 go, Ari❤
I mean if you’re talking about Ariana level vocals, they weren’t great for the first ones but if you’re talking about our level vocals. All of them were amazing.
Stop making fun of her she sounds better with her strained notes than your regular singing. She Is so talented and it’s ppl like you who bring these amazing ppl down! #JUSTIS_FOR_ARIANA !
Love that she’s not afraid to go for it even if it doesn’t come out perfect. Homegirl has hit more upper belts in her career than probably any mainstream pop singer ever, so we can forgive a couple misses.
@@kamilaford5752 yk who, you just don't wanna do the work which is okay. Showing how lazy you are but thats alright I'll give you one name Patti Labelle, she sings all genres.
@@whitneyhouston1122 I actually don't know who you're referring to, which is why I asked. I don't think Patty has hit as many upper belts in her career as Ariana. Patti also tends to get raspy at G5, whereas Ariana can hit (and sustain) a Bb5 without any rasp and with incredible ease.
PSA: Reminding people that singers are not robots, their voices are in better condition some days than others, sometimes they have colds or vocal fatigue from performing back to back, or they struggle to sing while doing choreo, and that one bad performance doesn’t mean they can’t sing or they use autotune the rest of the time. Be kind to artists and understand they are not perfect. This is the beauty of live performances.
YEZ OMFG. I’ve worked on my voice since I was a kid, but there are definitely “good” singing days and “bad” singing days for me. Like one day I could belt out a musical theatre piece, and then the next day it just doesn’t work out. And sometimes my operatic voice is the only voice I can do, I also got a “pop” voice and a musical theatre one.
When I tell you this is the only time I have EVER seen this girl mess up.. she’s been in the music industry for over a decade now and is incredibly skilled. She’s not my kind of music, but she’s worked hella hard for where she is and in my opinion, has earned her spot in the world.
@@officialtoiletpaperCause of her technique, she utilizes very heady mixing to prevent her from potential voice cracks or injuries or anything like that. And her falsetto notes just come naturally to her
@@Mariahmariahmariah3 Theres many videos of her in the studio cracking also a lot of her live A5s belts are actually cracks. Cracks aren’t always super noticeable like in this videos
@@ting3192 Are you replying to me or are you replying to @DeffNotScar? 😅😊 That account isn't tagged in your reply but maybe you meant that you too "see me everywhere".
Okay but this is so amazing to see because it shows that in order to nail those high notes you have to risk them coming out dodgy, and even someone incredible like her can fluff a note occasionally. Anyone starting vocal coaching should see this!
i noticed that two least fave clips were from dwt, so i'm thinking her voice was tired from the nightly performances. as always she still sounds damn good in most of the clips 🩷
she struggled a lil bit at the beginning of dwt, which is similar to all tours too. i just think it was more obvious due to her trying a different placement and going for that more deep sound !
@@FletchDrawz they also complemented her?? nobody is forced or entitled to like anybody , let ppl have opinions cuz ts attitude over some pop singer is childish.
Just so everyone knows. To be consistently hitting those high notes is definitely not easy. These are high notes for many singers even if they have a higher registered voice. It depends on how open your tract is on certain days and whether or not you've opened it up or given it time to breathe. Speaking from experience its a trial by error thing but once ready and prepared girl gives it her all! She killed it, always even when she had reached the ceiling she broke through and I love that about singers like her. They keep trying to move their voices even when it doesn't sound that good they keep going. More singers need to be like this and not like that George Michael tribute where Adele forced her band to restart the entire service. I thought that was hella rude. No, Ariana totally owned her voice on all these parts and I'm here for it!!
Not really. Overall Summertime Ball 2016 is better than 2015, the voice has gained freedom on the highs and lows, more ease and vibrato on G5, and better outfit and hair
@@marcossilva7444i was talking about the climax. In my personal opinion I prefer the tone and vocal delivery on that one over 2016. But obviously her vocal technique was objectively better on the 2016 performance
Bro everyone’s judging her In the comments on her voice crack. You don’t understand how hard it is to hit those notes. It’s insane that she can even cut close to hitting those notes.
It’s live, there’s choreography and everything. The imperfections make it more appealing imo. Makes it feel more tangible. And hey, at least she’s singing her parts live and not lip syncing whilst putting on a show.
she is EXTREMELY talented, and no one is perfect 100% of the time and never make mistakes, she persists and that is why she is the greatest at what she does
Ariana’s vocal cords don’t work with her unless she uses her natural Vibrato to stay up there and jump to notes. Her strained singing and voice cracks are not her using her voice to her natural ability.
very normal, no one’s vocals can be perfect all the time aside for yonghoon from onewe or hweseung from n.flying. go queen ari (obviously joking. maybe.)
Ariana is one of the fallen angels/ demons that got kick out from heaven for their rebellion. A lot of them are in this generation ( celebrities, politicians, scientists) Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon🙏🏼❤️🕊REPENT, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again
The problem performance I loved was when she did it at a private concert. She had the big bunny ears and she stretched the mic far from her mouth and it still sounded like it was super close
Nobody can be perfect 24/7 but even when she makes vocal mistakes it sounds so beautiful and amazing. She’s so talented and bad days will never take that talent away from her.
The only times she has voice cracks was during and mostly in that time 2014-2016 because during those eras she overperformed, she literally was everywhere and her voice got exhausted
