Visited India and Pakistan several time for business over the years, I have always found it fascinating to watch these crafts men make products by eye! And so quickly!
Jump on a plane and head to Delhi then by plane or train to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Kanpur is a big leather producer. The difficult part is getting past the middlemen/businessmen who do not want you to know how to by pass them to get to the maker. This is how it is in India. Been dealing with Indian Pakistani business men for many years, though don't do it much now. Indians and Pakistanis can produce world top quality leather. But you have to visit to make sure they understand what standard of quality you want and be very choosy which companies to deal with. From a saddlemaker Down Under.
От так і роблять усі світо бренди,де потім просто бірочки чипляють!за тяжкий труд платять пару доларів а на виході то й же ремінь має коштувати сотні а то й тисячі доларів!))
Most luxury goods sold in high-end retail stores are made in sweatshops just like this. Goods that might cost the luxury retailer $2-$3 per item are sold for a hundred or more dollars.
I wonder where they get their leather from? Some leather are made from cattle’s but knowing they worship their cows and never eat beef that means their leather can’t be made from cow skin. Maybe goats.. 🤔
This the way these guys have done their work for generations, part of their culture. I have been to India Pakistan many times and sitting on floor is the norm!
A proper workshop. Concrete floors and a roof. When you're done each day, you sweep the floor. The floor remains clean and you're not getting dirt all over your body. When it rains, you're not working in mud.
А что здесь удивительного? Когда ты делаешь это постоянно, то через какое-то время тебе будет не нужен измерительный инструмент. Он может использовать, например, фалангу пальца той руки, которой держит пробойник, или просто делать это на глаз.
