I didn't know which of your videos to comment on. Each one is as good or better than the last, so I just pointed and clicked and here I am and I am impressed! You have a beautiful craft that you can be so proud of and that you can hand down to your sons, proudly. I would be proud to own one of your bags. Have you ever worked with soft leather or done any brain tanning? My family have a good friend who took my oldest son under his wing and taught him how to brain tan. In fact, he did some of the leather for the movie "Dances With Wolves". I had to chuckle when you mentioned Tandy leather because to a brain tanner, Tandy leather (chemically done) is sacrilege. However, I'm not as die hard as my son was and our friend is. You do beautiful work, however you do it and I would be so proud to own one of your pieces. From start to finish, your presentation is perfect in every piece you create and even more than that, you value family time and that's the icing on the cake, my friend. You see, I lost my son in a tragic car accident three years ago so your words did not fall on deaf ears nor were they taken lightly. You're an ace in my books and I wish you amazing success in your outstanding work. Blessings, Naomi

Leatherworking videos are my drug right now, and had been for some 2 years. Need your advice ...How profitable was your buisnes at the begining? would you recomend some one like me to start spending on tools and equipment to change his carrier? here in my town there are not a lot of leather workers mainly because the principal state that produces leather is far away in the country. Thanks for the videos!

@@LittleKingGoods it's all about finding the right outlets and channeling, like about anything else that is hand crafted or even in the writer's field like I am. There are those who would pay just about anything for a hand crafted bag such as yours but finding them takes time and lots of patience. Twenty years ago I paid almost $100.00 for a simple hand bag with short handles. It was an American Angel so I was paying for the name but I can only imagine what they cost now. Have you considered hand crafting boots, sandals etc.? The sky's the limit to what you can do with your expertise.

Nicely produced video! What thread weight do you use on your bobbin versus top thread in the Juki. I have a 1541 clone and for handbags I plan to use Tex 70 in bobbin and Tex 90 in top. I’m a newbie with this machine and have tensions properly adjusted but feel that I should be getting more separation or gaps in my top stitches (bottom seems better). Any tips on thread weight and needle size and needle point choice would make a great future video! Thanks again - Sandy
