Thanks Andrew. The next time I start a project for start to finish I will try to record all of the necessary steps. I haven't really done all that much lately.
This wallet hardly shows how good of a burnish I can produce, but anyhow, here is how I do it. I Bevel the edges like normal, then I use a little bit of water let it dampen the edges and let it sit on the edges for about 30 seconds, then I take a piece of course canvas and rub briskly. After that, if there are any remaining spots that need it, I go over it with the wood handle of any of my tools. Get superb results!
I'm glad you've been enjoying the wallet and been getting some real use out of it. If you would like to give me a shoutout, you may certainly do so! Much appreciated! Thanks for sticking with me buddy. By the way, I saw your comment the day you posted it, I just forgot to hit the post button and forgot about it.
I do make for order but as of now I am not really taking orders. . . I suppose it just depends on the request. . . If you have something in mind I might be able to make an exception
i just had a wallet made for me almost like that. i have looked for 10 years or so for a bi-flod that had the card pockets that insert from the inside, not top. the only thing different on mine is one of the card pockets has screen mesh on the front, so you can see the drivers license or ID. other than that, your wallet meets my needs. do you make to order?
That's a very nice wallet, I made some worse looking ones that I was able to get $35 a piece for. My big problem on these is how much bigger is back piece of wallet than center piece? and How do you make the edges look so professional? I've been slicking my with my gum targanth (sp) and they don't look so great.
