I love your tutorials💞.. They make me want to buy more leather furnishings. It gives me great confidence knowing that I can repair damages at home. Thank You!
Hi my name is Mike Bryan great job on fixing it if only my brothers would have seen this we would have been in the vinyl business even to this day I really miss this kind of work and back then it was easy money and a lots of fun and work but we ran out of the vinyl repair compounds and we had to order more from the company that we had order our kit from so that videos helped me a lot now I know how to fix the big tips thanks.
I didn't know these products existed! I have a few vehicles that I will be trying them out on, can't getting worse. I was shopping for replacement lower seat panels, it's worth a try. Thanks for videos.
I used these products to fix holes in a leather couch. Great product and I watched this video to get me started. I’d recommend their products to anyone.
Dude awsome will do this on my Son's car...thank you..Your voice is great,,This dude can read a dictionary n make it very interesting just like the video...thank u again..
I had just recently bought this kit to fix the tears for my hunter green couch. I had looked at many different dye kits and decided that this one would be the best. The colored little tubs in other kits seem like It would be to hard to mix and match to get your color. The green dye matched great and I am very satisfied. I would say it would work better for small tears or just rub wear for touch up. I agree the video was a rush job and could have probably come out better if it was sanded smoother and if there were multiple thinner layers instead of a thick layer. But with a big tear or hole like in this video its hard to get it perfect. His other video of the green sofa chair came out great.
Reading the comment section, (hey one can usually learn some amazing helpful things down here🌞)but today in reading these comments....I've concluded that quite a few leather craftsman think they are superior beings ..a cut above the rest of the crowd......or possibly could be just some of these folks who God- only -knows- why they've- watched this nicely done instructional how to use a leather repair kit video..well these folks with their comments of put downs they really truly are never happy or content in life ...except for the times when they are attempting to have others join them in their less than charitable pissy-ness by putting someone else down LOL... and no matter what every time i click on their name to see their how to video and check it out.... since they can do it so much better ....lo and behold .....they've never even acconplished a single one!
Really impressive repair considering what you started with! I've been looking for a solution to repair a beautiful, soft faux leather motorcycle jacket. The collar has cracks and bits missing at the fold/crease at the back of the neck. I'm assuming perspiration weakened the material (polyurethane). This looks like it might be the solution I've been looking for. How well does this product work with polyurethane? How does one select the right color dye to match? (My jacket is dark black, but not ebony black.)
I ordered the kits suggested in this video to repair a giant hole on my leather couch. The hole was unsightly, and I had been trying to cover it for weeks. The filler kit and the leather dye kit have completely saved the day! My leather couch and the whole sectional now look attractive again. Would highly recommend buying the required kits. Combined cost of the kits was far cheaper than dropping $10,000 on a new leather sectional.
When you were spreading the filler on the leather I could just hear Curly singing "Laaaaaah deeeee...." like when he was putting mayo on a sandwich. Haha.... All joking aside : Great video!
Does the glue dissolve in water? Some glues aren't waterproof, and become liquid (sticky) after being in contact with water. But wow! That is pretty neat that it patches the hole!
Thank you for taking the time to upload this tutorial. Simply Amazing. I am ready to order your Automotive Dye for my 1985 Porsche with Color Code 917. My driver-side has the classic Bolster wear when I enter and exit the car, 2" x 1" spot is wearing down and rubbing away the dye. DO I NEED A SEALANT or is your product 2 in 1 Dye and Sealant?
dee-cent! thats one nice repair you did on that julian. now me and my kitties can get back to enjoying our sweet leather couch. on a serious note, great repair on this seat, thank you for taking the time to put these tutorials up!

Hi, I have watched some of your videos and you have explained so briefly and your voice is so clear. I need to know that my furniture is leather or rexine. The same products will go in the rexine or different?
Question: Would you want to use a small roller to roll over the entire patch (on the underside of the leather) as opposed to just using your fingers? And please forgive my ignorance, but before the large area dried (before the 12 minute mark) it looked like the left side (from my view) of the tear was a "bubbled" or puckered because it seemed overly filled with "filler" making it look like it needed to be squeezed out. After it dried it looked less puckered or "bubbled," but still like there was "extra filler" under the leather. Or was that just how it looked from the camera's perspective and not yours (not in reality)?
Hello Raul, the whole area is repaired - and will not open up! When you have a bycast leather rip this big there are only (2) choices. Fix it with our leather repair filler kit and apply our leather repair dyes to the surface or replace the panel with new leather. Unfortunately you cannot buy bycast leather hides so you will have to match up the skins with a finished leather - its also difficult to obtain the same color hide so the panel will ultimately have to be refinished to match. When its all said and done this way of repairing the bycast cushion seem very enticing. Thank for for sharing your comments with us. LeatherTouchupDye.com
If the couch has the same material in the back then you can take that material and replace the panel that has the tear...then you just replace the peice of leather taken from the back with something that matches closest to it...works great if the back of the couch is facing the wall.
What is the probability that the fittest skin without removing it because it's hard for me Is there a possibility of an easy way to fix the easy? Please advise me? And how the product is shipped to Austria? And what is the price. Thank you
Could this be used for automotive leather seat. 1969 Marquis. Has a 3" tear is the side bolster from a seam that split. Liked your video but you didn't show up close to show the grain and texture or is it all smoothed out now ? Thanks
What would you recommend for a repair of the perforated "dots" of a car seat? 4-5 of the dots tore. When you don't touch them you can hardly notice them( I don't want tear to get worse).
I bet it did! Get worse that is ....same as the tare in my drivers side leather seat that has little holes and it just continues to rip and get larger and larger no matter how many videos about repairing rips or tares in leather that I watch!
I am a handy man and looking at what you are doing I would say I have no problem fixing a tear in my sofa. I will let you know how I got on. Don't expect a reply too soon. Will have to get the repair kit first off the internet. My tear is very similar to what you have just done. It will give me a project to do with this lock down going on.
@@termivan Yes I did and it came out great. One thing though. It came out matt when my couch had that leather shine to it. But over time it gained a shine with sitting on it.
Hellooo over ther I just wandring if somebody know s what is the name of this magic stoff ....or what Cain of glue ..as alternative I made use thanks very much
