2012's Leatherhead is easily my favorite, because while he does have his anger issues, he isn't an idiot. Plus the most criminal omission from this video, the friendship between him and Mikey is genuine and adorable. They are always so damn happy to see each other.

I think people don't understand how good 2003 Leatherhead was. He was always there for the turtles if they ever needed him. Turtles gave him a place to stay and work on. Also, Leatherhead had a reason to be upset. He was being used as a lab rat basically for Shredder and Bishop. Leatherhead wasn't angry for no reason. 2003 story on him was pretty good and imo way better than 2012. Both versions of him was badass. I kinda like his roar in 2003 and sometimes it used to scare me a little lol.

I love 2003 Leather-head more than 2012: he was so sweet, polite, and intellectual. He was also a very close and loyal friend to Donnie; when Don was infected with mutagen, Leather-head gave heart and soul, everything to cure him, even if it meant seeking Baxter and Bishop’s help. He even forced Baxter to work on the cure; he was that dedicated to getting his friend back, therefore Leather-head has gained my upmost love and respect. Imo, I think his character would have deserved a kid, maybe a precious daughter who could calm him when he gets in a croc frenzy; either way, LH would be a great and caring father

Personally I prefer the 2012 Leatherhead, since I did grow up with the 2012 show, but the 2003 Leatherhead, from what I've seen is very good too.

I love having 2012 Leatherhead with the Mutanimals. For the New TMNT Movie Reboot Franchise, we should have him as a good ally to the Turtles with the mutanimals with the 2012 Counterparts.

2012 version all the way🐊 the way they did his backstory. And I like the way they created his character. Yes he was thrown in a toilet by his boys parents but the krang got a hold of him then mutated him, but he stayed true to his nature while also helping the turtles while also wanting to kick krang butt for what they did to him. I mean.....if the krang tried to experiment on me, I would want to kick there butts too.

IDW Leatherhead for me. It's new and fresh. Probably the most brutal version. This dude Ate Krang and murdered a bunch of Utroms.

87 and Archie are always my favorite not that the others are bad but the Cajun speaking goofiness is just so memorable and gave the character so much flavored plus the cheese design is pure 80s turtle to me. Not that I don't like the other versions but toe Leatherhead will always be that foul tempered Cajun gator man with a love of cooking up turtles.

I like the 2003 one because he’s more than just a brute. He’s intelligent as well, and shows more emotions other than just anger. That version is almost like Batman’s the Bane of TMNT

You forgot to mention that krangg didn’t actually die because he’s a parasite and instead merged with leatherhead and took over his body in the idw series

Clearly I love the 2003 and 2012 versions best because even as powerful predators, Leatherhead doesn't have to be viewed as a bad guy. He can be and is a good guy inside because of who is. I wish 2003 Leatherhead got seen more in the series but I'm always happy to see him. 2012 Leatherhead is just awesome. His adorable friendship with Mikey always puts a smile on my face every time.

I’m kind of torn between the 2003 and 2012 Leatherhead. While the 2003 Featherhead is a genius, I felt that his appearances and action scenes were few and far between. Conversely, the. 2012 Leatherhead is a simpler character, but he appears earlier, has more action scenes, and seems like a more skilled combatant. Furthermore, 2012 Leatherhead looks and acts more like a crocodile/alligator. You can see this in his head shape, leaner arms and legs, webbed hands and feet, and how he uses death roll-like moves and his jaws more.

I was hoping that the 2003 TMNT LH was the #1 Croc. I like the 2003 Leatherhead because he’s a Crocodile. What? I like Crocodiles better than Alligators. Oh & I wish the 2003 Series TMNT was out on a complete Region 1 DVD Set.

I wouldn’t be so determined to go back to a planet with aliens that abandoned me. Yeah I understand the the Krang had limited time to escape. But wasn’t Leatherhead in TCRI the whole time when the Foot attacked the Krang? So why didn’t the Krang didn’t think get someone they supposedly care about to go back to their home planet with them? They took the time to get the rest of the Krang out I’m honestly not sure about all the details so I was always confused by this. Particularly in the 2003 adaptation. Leatherhead was in TCRI at the time of the attack, right? So I don’t understand why he wasn’t given a thought when the Krang were trying to escape. I feel like I’m missing something basically

I had ALL OF THE NINJA TURTLE ACTION FIGURES when I was about 11 or 12!! ... You name it, I HAD IT!! The Rat King, Baxter Stockman, Mondo Gecko, Usagi Yojimbo, Krang, Casey Jones, April O'Neil, not to mention ALL of the MAIN characters. Splinter, all the turtles, Shredder, Bebop & Rocksteady,, and I EVEN had 7 or 8 foot soldiers so I'd "have a whole clan"!! Hell, I even had that robot turtle (can't remember his name right now)!! 😂 ...And last but CERTAINLY not least, LEATHERHEAD (of course)!! I just can't help it man,, but the ORIGINAL Leatherhead was my absolute FAVORITE version! I thought it was cool as HELL that he was a Louisiana gator, with a CREOLE ACCENT!!😆 (Great video man!!👍)

How do you know Leatherhead was from Florida he could have been for Louisiana which in the 1980s animated series he had the cajun accent. My favorite one is from the 2003 TMNT animated series and I haven't read the comics but I heard he was pretty dark. Both hit TV series 2003 and 2012 pull stories from the comic about Leatherhead Origins.
