Most of the boot has replaceable parts, so if you break a buckle, wear out the sole, or the side gripper / plastic, you can unscrew it and put a new one on.

I have the 5.5 Boots. The first ride on them was the Glen Helen 6 hour race that I rode solo in the Ironman Class. I did not have time to break them in before the race and really didn't have issues with them at all. They are very comfortable and feel great on the bike. I'm a mid-pack Vet C rider, a slow guy.

I have these boots. I have two issues. First is they are way too warm. My feet sweat in all conditions with thin socks. Second is they let tons of water in from the heel pivot point. Riding wet trails I can pour water out. I never had either issue with my Sidi Crossfire’s. I should have spent more $ for Sidi’s or AS Tech 7’s.

I currently have a pair of these and they are wonderful. I picked them up for 160 bucks off of Leatt's website as a back up for my SG-12s. I ended up never going back. They also have american sizes and half sizes. Im a size 12. They are amazing for the price, and have all the protection of the other boots. My only issues so far is the insole wore out pretty quick for my big self. I threw some work boot insoles from walgreens in them and no issues. They are good for guys with big calves and knee braces like myself, and the inner leg area has a lot of grip. Another issue the changable lockout blocks on the side. When you install the stiffer ones it tends to lift the inside of the foot upwards. You can also overpower them and itll pop out of the triangle it sits in. Another thing is, I caught large rock once and it sent this boot straight into its lockout points, both rotationally sideways and downwards. The boot actually jammed up and got stuck crooked, while the achilles hyper extension worked perfectly. I ended up taking it off and putting it back to its proper location, another instance of the red triangle popping out of its area. I've had no issues beyond this. It kept my safe, and Im thinking I'll purchase them again.
