I just noticed, the other games of Action 52 have an actually good soundtrack, I have the theory that the people who made it spent almost all the money in the music and did the rest with 10 dollars

I mean, at least they don't turn you into snails when you look at them... On a more serious note, talking about graphics, it's maybe not "Bad graphic design", maybe more of my thing, but I had a game called Digimon World DS I believe, and I remember that certain enemies were just recolours of others, and that would be dandy and all... if it wasn't for the fact that, like in Pokemon, you can use the enemies as allies, but unlike Pokemon, it's not fun to train these guys (specially since there is a level limit that can only be increased by reverting your progress, and the fact that there are several types of EXP, and some Digimon only evolve with a certain type of EXP) to big levels only to find out they are a recolour of "generic enemy 4", I dunno if this is also the case in the main series, or if this is just the game, but not cool. Also, the evolution lines are weird as heck, and that's a fact

The Bubble Man waterfall is so awful, it actually lowered the resolution of the video for me. It’s like even the non-sentient video player is disoriented by what it’s looking at.

I'm surprised Kingdom Hearts appears in this section of all things, but I agree that the tornadoes are evil especially the one with the bigger enemies and the final boss when it gets to that part (the multi-colour thing) is... Terra-ble (pun intended) for the eyes.

Hey, weird suggestion for Boss Analysis. What about bosses with absurd amounts of health that can literally take hours to defeat? Adamantoise from Final Fantasy 15 comes to mind, as well as Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts.

I don’t know if you’ve played Bloodborne on the PS4, but that Kingdom Hearts boss really reminds me of Darkbeast Paarl from that game. It’s one of the biggest bosses in the game, yet it leaps and bounds all over the arena to its heart’s content. Locking onto it is sickening and disastrous. Not to mention that it’s so tall you can’t hit anything but its legs most of the time, which you can’t lock on to!

Funny thing: The first I got my hands on Empire Earth (A rts for PC), it was a glitched version where every scenario looked like a colored mess and a frame rate as fast bureaucracy on a communist country in East Europe. I still managed to pass all 8 tutorial levels (Some of which included fairly big battles) by sheer stubborness.

Oh yeah, Boobeam Trap, that one boss that not only is really bad and barely feels like a real boss, but that always gave me the feeling that my game was either glitching out or suffering from some form of malfunction. It just looks like something is missing, the flickering, slowdown and whatnot only add to that feeling. Also, yeah, that Kingdom Hearts battle was one of the most disorienting things I've seen in a game.

That Castlevania Gargoyle made me uncontrolably rock around on my chair.

The UFO game on the black and white vomit background, that stopped me. I closed my eyes and it was still there so I turned my iPad off to stop the pain.

I dread enemies in Toki in general, that's one of, if not the hardest games of that era. The later levels on hardest are total bullshit, and it's one of those games that make you play on the hardest setting to complete it.

Why were so many game developers back in the day like "hey let's give the player an intense seizure with rapid flashing lights on top of the gameplay being difficult"

Oh the fact re-releases tone down the flashes in Mega Man explains why most of the other times I saw videos of them they aren't as seizure-inducing.

Stage 3 from Dezaemon+ Game 68:「THE MUSEUM」(from Select100/Dezaemon Kids) on PS1 is a good pick for this. Just look it up it even has a Crying Eye as its boss.

Mega Man : The Willy Wars on the Mega Drive is one of the worst offenders of this. Each time you enter a stage, the screen flashes like crazy, even I, not being sensitive to quick flashes, had to look away after a while, it was awful.

Mega Man 1 is generally dull to look at, while 2 likes to give your eyes a good ol overload, yet lots of people like to consider those two the best of the series? I too don't get 2's love Git

Another good pick for bad camera would be gurumin: a monstrous adventure and worse of all is that the game doesn't even have an enemy lock feature (or maybe missed that part)

i hated Konami or other shootemups having fast scrolling and sprite unrendered and flashing at the same time. Fyi what i talked about is Scat and Life Force on Nes, these two made me eyes cryin in some levels 1:50 also even Nes battletoads has a tilting tower level that is obnoxious. Not to say the hard spikes its difficulty after lv2. Also Konami is infamous when Contra 3 had 2 up-down perspective levels which made you headache and eye bleed. Somehow more unbearable than Arcade games having no seizure warning.
